Alright, here we go. It's a pretty long list, so bear with me. I'll try to make it as basic as possible. So, starting with everyone's favorites:
Vampires:
Vampires are split into two groups, Pureblood and Servants. Purebloods have been alive since the beginning of time. Rumor has it that Purebloods can also have children, but it has never been proven. These vampires are ageless, and do not die very easily. They are very strong physically, but not as much as the Servants. Unlike the Servants, they are much more powerfull Magically. They can go out in the sun, and can go without blood for weeks on end. The distinguishing factor between Purebloods and Servants is that when a Pureblood bites a mortal, they become the Pureblood's Servant.
Servant vampires are literally the servants of the Purebloods. They must obey their Pureblood master. When they bite a mortal, and the mortal changes, they do not become the servant of the Servant, but the servant of the Pureblood that bit the original Servant. Servant Vampires are stronger physically, and can also go out in the sunlight, but will begin to crave blood more and more the longer they stay out. If they do not drink blood after going out in the sunlight, they can die.
Werewolves:
Like Vampires, there are also two forms of Werewolves, ones that are physically stronger, and ones that are magically stronger. The physically strong ones are simply called Werewolves. They can morph between their human, hybrid, and wolf forms at will and are ruled by the full moon. The magical Werewolves are called Wolvrin. A Wolfrin is strong magically and very intelligent. They are said to be ruled by the in between phases of the moon (Crescent, Half, Gibbous). They have all the other skills of a Werewolf.
Ri-Riy-Cen:
Magical "Guardian Beasts" that live in the "Ancient Forest." The location of this forest is unknown though. Most knowledge on this ancient clan of humanshape beasts is shrouded in mystery. From what we have heard, they are beasts with a humanshape appearance, and there can only be one of its kind. If there is one Red Wolf Ri-Riy-Cen (for example) there cannot be another Red Wolf Ri-Riy-Cen. The term Guardian Beast comes from the legend that this clan guards endangered species in their Ancient forest, until the rare species can multiply and be set free to roam the world once again. It is also said that this clan is very skilled in magic, and have been called Sorcerers and Sorceresses in legends and myths.
Most of the other creatures out there are unimportant, but many of them show up in the main story of Symptoms that I have to mention them.
Theives of the Desert:
All female race that live in the Deserts of Kenaia. They are the sworn enemies of the Thieves of the Mountains (which happen to be an all male race of theives). Desert Theives are very nimble and quick, being theives. Their dark skin blends in with their andy surroundings in the desert. They also love gemstones, and many have brightly colored gems embedded in their skin (its not as painful as it sounds...). Living conditions in the desert are hot and dry, so they wear light clothing.
Shinigami:
One of the Grim race that come from the continent of Ninoih. Being a continent were the Underworld had merged with the overworld, the demons live throughout the land. The Grims, the ones that guide souls to the Underworld cannot fulfil their task in a place that has no connection to the Underworld. Therefore, the Shinigami exist. They are much more powerful than the Grim, for they have to either travel to an Underworld entrance in a distant land, or create a prison for evil souls in the gap between the dimensions (this gap is called the Netherworld. There is no escape from it). Shinigami are also said to have an eye that can paralyze their opponent with fear, but Shinigami will only kill those who threaten the death date of another. If one messes with fate and tries to kill another before that one's death date, a Shinigami will act, and banish thier soul. Other than this, a Shinigami will never kill.
Moon Dancer:
Another all female race that live on the continent of Englanai. They survive by stealing the life force from their victims, or by borrowing power from the full moon in a sort of ritual that almost looks like an elegant dance. Thus they are called Moon Dancers. They are supposedly natrually beautiful so they can attract victims. Those that only borrow power from the Moon also have a low life expectancy.
Death Star Spirit:
"A being that should never have existed" is how a character in Symptoms later describes the Death Star Spirit, Leo. There are 13 of them, each named after a sign in the Western Zodiac (13 because there are two for Gemini). Each one has their own special artifact, and they are very dangerous creatures. Rumored to have been created in the Underworld from a Source of Mana, but their creation corrupted that Source. At their birth, stars appeared in the Underworld sky, which is said to be a bad omen to the residents of the Underworld.
Aurites:
"Magical Humans." The mostly human children with at least one magical ancestor (half-elves do not count). Aurites are either humans with a magical being in their family tree, or a Human that was given magical powers for some reason or another. Humans were looked down upon because they could not control their Mana and create Magic, but Aurites have this ability. Therefore Aurites are treated better than normal Humans in this world. Other than their magical abilities, Aurites are just the same as normal Human Beings.
Alright... Of course there are still many many more, but these are ones that appear in Symptoms, and to name every single creature in existance would be impossible. So... Hurray?
