Character interview
Robin Hood

Reporter: Would you consider stealing a sin
Robin Hood: Yes, but I steal from the rich and give to the poor

Reporter: That may be so, but you are still stealing from honest people
RH: NO! those people didn’t earn their money they lied, cheated, stole, and deceived to get their money. They are definitely not honest people… quiet the opposite

Reporter: Is it true that you and your band of merry men have a building or cave of sorts full of treasures?
RH: yes, it is part of our supplies to help the needy

Reporter: If you steal and have a cave of treasures then couldn’t you be considered the rich thief in Nottingham shire if not the whole country.
RH: some may consider me a thief, but I am stealing from those who stole from others… and as for the other part the answer is no because it is not my treasure. It belongs to my merry men, myself, and all people in need.

Reporter: What kind of people do you give help to?
RH: Everyone who needs it. The homeless, the poor, the honest or the sad. Pretty much whomever I can

Reporter: Why did you become an outlaw?
RH: the king’s guards tricked me into shooting the kings deer and I ended up regrettably killing a man. Then I fled.

Reporter: How many men are in your band of merry men?
RH: 140 plus

Reporter: Is it true that you shot and arrow with an arrow?
RH: yes, it was at one of the Nottingham archery tournaments

Reporter: How would you feel if somebody wrote a story of your great adventure and triumphs?
RH: I would be delighted.

Reporter: O.K. time for the last question. Are you the best fighter in the world?
RH: No, although I am the best archer in all the land, but I can be defeated in a cudgel or wrestling match.
