2010 Tickets Available Now!

Tickets for the 2010 New York Anime Festival and New York Comic Con are now live at nyanimefestival.com and nycomiccon.com! Attendees can register now by clicking the big "Buy Your Tickets" button on either site, and Professionals can register in the Pro Registration sections further on down. (Press Reg isn't yet live.) We're excited to be able to have registration online this far out from both events, and remember that you only need to buy a ticket to NYAF or NYCC in 2010, as your ticket to either show will get you into both.

And just how much are badges for NYAF and NYCC in 2010? Friday passes are $25, Saturday passes are $30, Sunday passes are $25, and Weekend passes are just $45.

Taking place Sunday, October 18 at Kinokuniya (1073 Ave of The Americas) Osamu Tezuka Day will be celebrating the career of Osamu Tezuka -- the father of manga -- just days before Astro Boy hits the big screen! Here's the Tezuka Day schedule...

Astro Boy Screening - 12 PM
Spend an hour with the original Astro Boy cartoon courtesy of Right Stuf!

Vertical, Inc. – 1 PM
Vertical publishes Black Jack, Dororo, and a whole world of Tezuka manga. Learn firsthand about how to find Tezuka manga in America!

The Art of Osamu Tezuka – 2 PM
Abrams Books is publishing the definitely look at Osamu Tezuka’s career – The Art of Osamu Tezuka by Author Helen McCarthy. See it here first!

Samurai Beat Radio – 3 PM
Samurai Beat Radio broadcasts from NYC to Japan, and they’re coming to Tezuka Day to talk with fans about Astro Boy and what he means to America!

Raffle – 4 PM
