Everything would be better if I was dead. No one would even care. Shukaku may be calling myself selfish for abandoning my sister to kill Naruto, but it was my choice.
I took a cigarette out of my second pack, that Shukaku hadn't destroyed, and lit it up. I puffed out some smoke and I was becoming a wreck. I didn't care though. 'What was Shukaku saying before I ran off? Oh, yeah, he challenged me to a contest. I don't want to go with childish games though.'
--Flashback--
I sat on top of a roof. Shukaku soon came over to me. "When'd you start smoking? Teme, this isn't like you."
I just looked at the tanuki, but continued to sit on the roof and smoke. "I don't give a crap anymore... Maybe I should commit suicide or *inhales* *exhales smoke* ... Something."
Shukaku looked shocked at my statement and then started to say something, but said something else. "But what about Chiyoko? She'll be so sad that you died. Besides, we can't die. The only way we can die is if our jinchuriki dies...So you can smoke as much as you want... *drinks more*"
I smiled at his statement. "Exactally, kill Naruto and I die *inhales* *exhales smoke*" I said, "... It doesn't really matter much if I die or not... Barely anyone will care anyway."
"Chiyoko cares, Neka cares, Every other biju cares... Don't even think about killing Naruto... I know! We have a contest. I'll eat and drink and you will smoke. Whoever does it the most wins. If I win, you can stop thinking suicide, quit smoking, and make me King of Biju for a week. If you win, I'll stop doing what I'm doing, let the sun shine again, and I'll leave you alone for one full day. Deal?" he said, putting his tail up, for what I presumed to be a challenge game.
I thought, but said, "No. I'd rather be emo and kill Naruto."
Shukaku got upset and grabbed me. "Why you lil'!?! I challenged you to a duel, dang it! Don't refuse me... You are gonna do the contest and that's final!" he said, taking my cigarettes and destroying them with Sand Coffin.
I blew smoke in the tanuki's face and disappeared.
--Flashback over--
Hachi was now on my side. We just needed to take Shukaku down.
I sat back in my chair. The man I had played against had left, but I was left in shock and depression. I felt overly dead and leaned back in the chair further. Someone came up from behind me, but I didn't even flinch.
"Hachi," Kyuubi said calmly, "You look tired....."
I turned around to look at him through the street lights. The smell of smoke was on him. I sighed and felt more emo than usual.I din't care about anything. My body was numb with the shock of losing. I stood up and faced him completely.
"Kyuu-kun," sighed, "Ya I am tired....I wssssas beat by a guy far inferior to me....Kyuu-kun. My head hurts."
" Hachi, Shukaku is protecting someone from me Hachi. And I need to take him out," Kyuubi said coldly, "Are you with me or against me?"
"As always Kyuubi," I said standing up, "I am with you."
My soul was in shreads, but I left with Kyuubi.
Aww man! I done it this time. Kyuubi started smoking, then he's gonna kill Naruto. I must stop him. Naruto came up to me...
"There you are! Kiba, Neji, Granny, and everyone is mad at me cuz' of you." Naruto yelled. I quickly grabbed Naruto and ate him. Then Kyuubi won't kill him. Which is good...Mmm. Naruto tatsed like fish cake. I saw cigarette dust all over the ground. I chased after the trail...

I sighed. I wasn't concentrating on the game I was playing, and I was doing terrible. Kyuubi had ran off somwehre and Shukaku was still on the lose. There was too much to think about at once.
"Check," the man I was playing against said. I looked at the game. It showed my stress so easily that I felt almost annoyed by it. "Hey are you going to move?" he asked. I sighed.
"There is noting to do, but work at the task at hand," I told myself. Let's see...he had already taken out my queen, but both his rooks and bishops were gone. His knights were scattered and from the looks of it, he was not a very good player.
I moved my king behind a pawn.
"Hey Hachi! Are you ok?" the guy asked, "This isn't like you at all. Get back to your normal thing or I'm going to win!"
No matter what I did, I could not think under the circumstances. My head was in a fog. I sighed and sat back looking at the moon.
In the end...it was the first game I ever lost....
"It's all Shukaku's fault you know?" I told a hobo I was sitting next to as I smoked, "He's the one that got me on this habit and I don't think I can stop now."
"When'd you start?"
"Few minutes ago," I said blowing out smoke, "That baka's causing me problems and causing me to turn into a wreck. Now, I'm going to walk into my home and my sister *inhales* *exhales smoke* ... Is going to be wondering why I smell like an ash tray."
"I don't think smoking will solve your problem," the hobo said, "To get to the route of the problem you've got to wonder, is he doing this intentionally?"
I put out the cigarette and lit another. "Yes, he does this all the time. He's a womanizing, perverted, letch. He always wants to get some and he drinks all the time. I just hate it when my sister *inhales* *exhales smoke* ... Get's involved..."
"You just have to solve the problem without getting angry. The more angry he sees you, the more he'll keep doing it."
I flicked the ash that was burnt on the ground and put the cigarette back in my mouth. "It could work, but I really don't think that baka will even buy it. He'll just keep doing it no matter what happens."
"You have to show him the result of his choices. If he sees all the havic he's caused, along with your budding smoking problem, he may realize what he's doing."
I stood up and puffed out smoke again. "Worth a shot I guess. Thanks..."
