I slid to a stop and tried to regain my balance. This was getting me no where.
"Dizzy, why do you feel like we hate you?"
"YOU NEVER INCLUDED ME IN ANYTHING!" she swung again.
"If I said things would be different, would you stop trying to kill me?" I asked backing away.
"What...?" Dizzy stopped swinging her hammer.
"Dizzy, I thought we told you to finish her off." A black hedgehog stepped over to her.
"That's right cousin! DIE TAKI!" She took off running for me.
I narrowly dodged her hammer. That cousin of hers was controlling her.
"Do you listen to what he says, Dizzy? Like a pawn?" I asked her, standing on all fours.
"I AM NOT A PAWN!" she screamed swinging again.
We were of course attracting people. I could see the headlines now- "FOX VS WOLF- WOLF LOSES BATTLE".
"You say your not, but you are. Don't be a hypocrite Dizzy." I lept over her swing.
"SHUT UP!" Dizzy angled her hammer so it swung around again hitting me in the process.
I flew into an alley. Finally! A chance to get out of this. I lept onto some old trashcans and lept onto the top of the roof. Of course Dizzy saw.
"HEY! GET BACK HERE!" she screamed. SHe quickly lept onto the roof and started chasing me.
*gulp* This wasn't good.
Taki Okami~
"YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS!" Dizzy screamed hitting with her hammer again. I flew off the taxi and hit the pavement.
"Crap grrl. Stop swinging that thing around!" I pulled myself up.
I was seeing spots of all different colors, preventing me from changing into a wolf. The pavement swirled into my face.
"I HATE YOU!" Dizzy swung again.
This time I reached out and grabbed her wrist.
"Why....why are you doing this Dizzy? I thought we were friends..." I used as much strength as I could to hold her back.
"EVERYONE HATES ME, SO I HAVE A RIGHT TO HATE THEM BACK!" Dizzy pushed her hammer into me.
"I...don't know what your talking about..." I choked out hitting the side of a resturant window.
"DON'T LIE TO ME!!" she grabbed my collar.
"I'm sorry Dizzy." I mumbled feeling my vision sttraighten.
"FOR WHAT? WHAT ARE YOU SORRY FOR? TELL ME!" Dizzy yelled in my face.
"For this!" I quickly changed into a wolf,knocking her down.
"I HATE YOU!" she screamed kicking me off.
I flew back and tried to catch my stance. What the freak...?
Taki Okami~
I walked slowly down the street. Everyone was taking everything way too seriously. Even Kai had run off with Kyuubi to find Dizzy. I sighed and stopped walking. Just then someone runs into me. It felt like a train hit me, but I refused to fall over. I looked to my right at a very angry girl staring at me. Her chakra was so full of determination. It was like she was trying to run me over. I moved to the left and the force she applied to me caused her to fall forwards.
“Newton’s fist law of motion an object in motion will remain in motion until acted on by an outside force,” I said calmly addressing the girl.
Standing back up she turned to look at me. I realized that it was that girl Yurikami wearing a new outfit. Good grief was everyone going to go through a dress change?
“Hey! I was looking for someone! Move it! And what is with your stupid random phrases?” she asked.
When she finally realized that the chakra she was apparently looking for was me, her eyes widened and she backed up.
“Hey your that guy!” Yurikami said pointing a finger at me.
“*sigh* I guess we were never properly introduced. My name isssss Hachimata or Hachi for ssssshort. I know your name is Yurikami,” I said.
“Ya you’re the snake guy!” she said happily.
“Ssssure, but why were you running at me?” I asked.
“I was running to the nearest demon chakra which happened to be yours. Do you know where Kyuubi and the others are?” she asked.
“Ssssure they are ahead of me going to get Dizzy,” I answered.
“Why the heck are you back here then?” she asked.
“Ssssimple….I don’t feel like russshing to go and fight,” I answered.
“You are so weird!” Yurikami said pointing at me again.
“Well, I guess we can hurry up and get back with Kyuubi,” I sighed.
“Then let’s go!” she said happily grabbing my arm and dragging me off in the direction of Kyuubi. Why does everyone feel the need to drag me?
Hachi’s notes: this was really short!
I was really getting testy with Hachi and the others. We could've lost Dizzy's trail and what if she had gotten to the others. Time was being wasted.
Once Kai got his spiked collar, I left the mall with Storm. I really couldn't care less if they followed, but Taki was losing time. I wasn't sure if she was even dead or not. Unfortunately, I couldn't know where Taki was, so I went to the hotel where the remaining members were. Houkou was the first I tried to get to answer. Good thing, he did answer. "Kyuubi? Do you know what time it is? And... What's up with the new clothes and the girl?"
"Dude! This is really not the time! Dizzy's gone nuts and is about to kill Takahara. Do you know where the others are?"
"Yuri and your sis are in Neka's room, but I'm not sure where Neka, Kaku, or the others are."
"Come on, we gotta find everyone," I said knocking on Neka's door.
"Oni-san? What's up with the clothing change?"
"Not the important time, Yoko. Taki's in trouble and we need all the members to take that girl down!"
"I thought Dizzy wasn't much of a threat," Houkou commented.
"Dizzy really isn't a threat to us, but is a real threat to most of the demons that are a part of this club."
"I see..."
"Oni-san? Whose the girl? Have you replaced me as your sister?" Chiyoko said nearly crying.
"What? No, no, I'd never do that Nee-chan. Storm's just a demon that I bumped into. She couldn't replace you!"
"So... You're not mad at me since Shukaku gave me a kiss?"
"No, I could never be mad at you! I can be mad at Shukaku and Isonade though."
"As much heartwarming this is, don't we need to track down Shukaku and the others?" Storm asked.
"Right! Houkou, I need you to track Neka and Kaku's scent. We can find the drunkard later."
"Okay, but what about Hachi and the others. Plus Isonade."
"Hachi and the others can handle themselves. As for Isonade... I could care less if that guy is dead or not."
"All right!"
Houkou went into Nekomata's room and sniffed around. At first it was a little creepy, but then I remembered Houkou was a dog. "Okay, they were both here. I know where they went."
Houkou ran out the room and we followed. My sister climbed onto my back and was taking a nap. I smiled and turned back around. 'I'm really wondering if she remembers the day we met, that long time ago when she became my sister.'
The four of us continued on to find Neka and Kaku before Dizzy managed to.
Ya the title really has nothing to do with the story, but read it anyway....
"Would you at least tell me when you are going MIA!!!!!!!?” Kai yelled angrily.
"M-I-A not MIA Kai," I sighed.
"And what's with those clothes! You look like one of those people in a motorcycle gang! They are wayyyyyyyyyy too cool for you!" he yelled again.
"And when did you decided to become my mother?" I asked.
Kyuubi put his hand to his head, and Suki laughed. I looked at Suki and realized that she had changed as well. That only left Kai without a new look. I sighted and grabbed him by the collar.
“Kyu-kun, Kai needs new clothes or this isn’t going to work,” I sighed.
“Kyu-kun?” Kyuubi asked looking dumbfounded.
“And besides, we can find Dizzy whenever we want….” I continued.
“Ack! You are not going to dress me in a biker outfit NO WAY!” Kai said backing up.
“Then we’’’ just go shopping for something you like,” Suki said shrugging.
“Works for me,” I said calmly. Secretly I was dreaming of when the guy would finish my motorcycle. It was like waiting for heaven after you die…
Kai dragged us all over town until he came to a Club Banana store.
“WTF,” I said astonished, “What is a Club Banana doing here?”
“Well they have a Hot Topic, so they might as well have a Club Banan,” Suki and Kyuubi agreed.
“Wow their clothes are so…” Kai started.
“Prep-ish,” I finished.
“Come on Hachi! We can at least go inside!” Kai said grabbing my arm. I sighed and let him drag me in. A man asked if I was here to buy clothes. I turned around and gave him my snake eyes. He screamed like a girl and fell on the floor.
“Does that mean everything is free?” Kai asked.
“Sssssure,” I said unsure myself.
Kai tried on a bunch of clothes until he finally decided to an outfit. It was not what I expected….It was a red muscle shirt with black jeans….
“Aw Kai you look so…” Suki started.
“Nonprep-ish,” I said astounded.
“Hachi that is not a word,” Kyuubi started, “but ya….that about sums it up…”
“I want a doggie collar like the ones over there!” Kai said pointing to the Hot Topic.
“The ssssspiked one?” I asked looking in the general direction of the store.
“Yep!” he said and ran inside.
“The….” Kyuubi started.
“Here comes a fight,” I sighed.
