"What just happened?" I asked myself.
I was still standing in the doorway of my hotel room. Then I looked down at the gift Houkou had given me. I walked backwards into the room, still staring at my present. I could see an upside down mirrored me in the silver bell.
I was now standing in front of my dresser's mirror. I took it out of the box and put it around my neck.
'It's perfect!' I thought, smiling to myself. 'Why would Houkou be so nervous though?'
I heard a knock on the door. Half of me wanted it to be Houkou, but the other half knew it wasn't...
"Kaku?" I said opening the door.
"Hi Neka! I was wondering if you wanted to come with me to get some dinner in the hotel...There's a comedian performing tonight." He asked.
"Uh, sure!" I agreed walking out of the room.
"That's a pretty choker you have on." he commented.
"Thanks. Houkou gave it to me!" I grinned.
"Oh." was all he replied.
After that an awkward silence fell upon us.

Just another day in the life of Biju... Suki p*$$ed off the Akatsuki and the Akatsuki were everywhere looking for us. "Damn..." I sighed as Storm was looking for clothes to wear instead of rags.
I was in a girl's store and I was waiting for my new friend to get done picking out something. Suki, Hachi and Kai were waiting by and were just as annoyed as me. "I'm going to look around for a bit. Call me once you get done here."
I walked out of the girl's clothing store and was looking around for a Hot Topic. Do they even have a Hot Topic here? I guessed so, because I found one.
I walked in and was browzing around, but then I noticed that the Akatsuki leader, Pein, was a cashier. Crap! This is just great. I took off my cape so I wouldn't be reconized and kept browzing to see if anything interesting was there. What I did find was a cool skull necklace and a black spiked wrist band. For me, it was my style so I grabbed the two items and continued to browze. Then something really caught my eye. It was an awesome long-sleeved black and red striped shirt and a black short-sleeved jacket. I rushed over to the clothes and took my size of those clothes before anyone could get their hands on them. "I sware, this is love!" I said as I grabbed the clothes.
Then Hidan approached me and looked me over. "Can I help you?"
My dream dispersed and I looked at the Jashinist. "Oh, sorry, yeah, I'd like to buy these."
He looked me over again and then lead me to Pein. I set the clothes on the table and Hidan walked away to help another customer. Pein scanned the items in and looked at me, yet looked like he hadn't found out who I was. "Okay, that'll be $96."
"I have a membership card here," I said handing him my Hot Topic card.
"Okay... That's $76.80."
I got out a $100 bill out from my leather wallet, from the fight with Shukaku, and gave him the bill. "Okay, your change is $23.20," he said while bagging my items, "Thanks for buying from here."
I grabbed the bag and walked back to where the others were. I walked in the store once more and Storm was still trying to get something without wasting much money. I walked into one of the changing rooms and swapped shirts and put on the jacket. I put my red cape in the bag, along with my black shirt and grabbed my necklace and wristband. I put the necklace on and put the spiked wristband on my left wrist.
I walked out of the changing room, with my bag, and looked in a mirror. "Huh, I like this look," I said.
I looked over to Storm and she was having a really hard time choosing, so I walked over and took a look at the clothes she chose. She couldn't decide if she wanted a red kimono with a black tie or a honey-yellow kimono with a blue tie. I honestly didn't like either, but that was because it wasn't my clothing style, nor was I a girl. I looked a little more and found a honey-yellow kimono with a black tie and black flower-petal designs on it.
I grabbed it and showed it to Storm and she tried it on. Personally, she liked it and we decided to buy it. it was $120.20, but I had enough money and bought it.
Once we left from the shopping trip, I really wanted to battle now! "We've wasted enough time with this shopping trip that we need to make up for missed time," I said.
"So says the Sasuke look-alike with new clothes," Suki commented.
"*groan* Come on! Suki, Kai, Hachi, where was the casino you guys and Isonade were at?"
"Come on, this way!" Suki said.
I sighed and followed Hachi, Kai, and Suki, with Storm following, and said, "Just another day..."
I was sitting on a tall skycraping casino, waiting for the boxing torniment when A snail passed me by.
"Hey *hic* Ms.Beautiful!" I said smiling. She flung acid from her 4 tails at me. I dodged it.
"Sorry sexy Human, I don't like drunks like you!" She said. Why do people always assume that I'm human!?! I changed into my beast form. She was shocked completely.
"My name's Shukaku. What's *hic* yours?" I asked. She looked at me.
"The name's Alexis..." Alexis says, "How about you give me a drink?" I nodded as I moved my huge tail down to the bartender downstairs.
"Two sakes *hic* please!" I yelled. Earthquakes were made. The bartender got the drinks.
"Here ya go Shukaku." The bartender sounded like Taki. It was Taki. I quickly grabbed the drinks with my tail and raised it up to the roof.
"So, you're kinda big for a biju, huh?" Alexis said as she poked the bottle. I was drinking and blushing at her at the same time. She's hot for a snail. I was about to kiss her when a voice was heard.
"Ladies and Gents! The boxing match is about to begin!!!" What I saw next was terrfying. Zestu was on the other rooftop with boxing gloves waiting for me. I got up and charged at him. He dodged it, then bit my arm. I punched him out of the ring. He KOed. I won the first match. That was quick.
"Alexis! *Hic* Find Kyuubi and tell him the Akatsuki are here!!!" I said.
"And what will you be doing?" She asked. I shrugged. She walked-I mean slow walked away. I went to another bartender to get a drink. I saw kids in the streets waving at me. I can hear them.
"Look! Isn't that raccoon cool?"
"I love giant monsters!"
"He looks awesome."
I couldn't resist picking up the children and teens with my tail and put them on my back. At least I have fans and I'm gonna be on tv!

I stood behind the bar counter washing another glass. The job was boring and the people were rude and rowdy. In fact, earlier some drunken man came by to the bar asking for two shots of vodka and kiss. I had slapped him and handed him his shots and told him to leave.
"Some sake please." some asked.
I turned around and saw Tadashi sitting at the bar. I dropped my glass out of shock, the glass flying every which way. I looked down and had a feeling the glass was going on my tab =_=
"Let me help you!" Tadashi flew over the counter and started helping me sweep.
"Do you still want your sake?" I asked in a low tone when the glass was picked up.
"Of course ma'am." he said giving me a genuine smile.
What was up with this? Then it hit me-he had no clue who I was. I quickly readied his sake and tried to make myself scarce, but he was the only customer at the bar.
"So, uh, what brings you to uh, Las Vegas...sir." I stammered fumbling around with the drinks at the counter.
"My sister."
"I see." I quickly yanked off my name tag and tossed it to the floor in one move before Tadashi could see it.
"Yeah. She's not my real sister. Her family adopted me a while back."
"How pleasant." I kept fidgiting with my hair hoping he wouldn't figure me out.
I honestly thought my red hair and blue eyes would tip him off but I guess not. Without my brown streak showing and my collar I was no longer Taki.
"She ran off here. I'm supposed to bring her home." Tadashi went on.
"Really? Silly girl should no better than to run from home." I found my acting skills wavoring.
"No. She had reasons to run. I'm not sure if I even want to go back." he said, he smile faded.
"Mmmm. Is that so?"
"Las Vegas is a big place. I prolly won't find her."
"Yeah. Well, what would you tell her if you found her?" I asked, suddenly feeling sad.
"I would say that...-"
"I'D LIKE A WHITE WINE SPRITZER!" a rude lady sat down next to Tadashi.
I bit my tongue as I bent down to gather the drink. When I stood up, Tadashi was gone. In his place was money for the drink and a 20 dollar tip.
"Oh brother..." I sighed.
Taki Okami~
I left the hotel room and was sure the others left somewhere too, but I wasn't sure where. I sighed and was sad instead of angry. "I hate this place! This is worse than New York! My best friends are hitting on my sister. And this is getting me more miserable," I said burying my head into my knees.
"Are you okay?"
I looked up to a girl that looked at least 12 and had black ears and a fluffy tail. "No, nothing's going right."
She sat beside me and looked at me. "Tell me what's wrong."
I decided to tell this girl demon about what had occurred and she listened to every word. "Well, if you need anything, I'll help out Kyuubi-sama."
"Thanks"
We both stood up and I started to walk back towards the hotel, but I noticed the girl was following me. I turned back around and decided to ask her her name. "Storm"
"Nice to meet you. Would you like to meet some of my friends and my sister. They may be gone from the room though." I said as we were walking.
I stopped though after hearing footsteps approach. "Kyuubi! We have a problem!"
It was Suki. "If it's about Isonade, I'll handle it later."
"No, the Akatsuki are here!"
"I should be surprised?"
"You aren't helping! Listen! I beat them in a poker game and-"
"You p*$$ed them off, so now they are after us."
"Yeah, pretty much."
"Where's Isonade?"
"Left him there."
"I can see why, I'd do the same thing."
"All right, so what are we going to do?"
"Well, Shukaku's too drunk to handle this, so we may have to handle these guys on our own. Kakuzu was disguised as a policeman when I last saw him, but they weren't in disguise correct? We either need to get new clothes for a new look or we just charge inside trying to find the people who already know what we look like and have an advantage over us. I'm choosing option 2. I don't wanna wait around until they find me."
Okay, now you vote. I really don't wanna wait around I just wanna get to the battle already, but If you wanna redesign what your character looks like (Suki, Kai, or Hachi) then you have to post what the look is. If you do not, let's just get to the fight already, cuz I really wanna get on with the fanfic!
