Here are some info for the new demons out there, like Chiyoko and Yurikami-chan, Why I'M much better than Kyuubi.
The One-Tailed Shukaku (一尾の守鶴) or the Shukaku of the Sand (砂の守鶴) is the weakest of the Tailed Beasts. It is said to be a corrupted spirit of a Sand monk from Sunagakure that turned into a demon. It was originally sealed inside a teakettle and then placed inside its first host. It was sealed inside Gaara by Chiyo on the orders of Gaara's father, the Fourth Kazekage, by using Gaara's mother as the sacrifice, but only after being removed from a second host.
Personality
The Shukaku is intelligent, but also incoherent, giving it the demeanor of a drunkard, this fits well with the typical depictions of tanuki in Japanese folklore. The Shukaku itself can translate to "drunk" in Japanese. Like other tailed beasts, its innate rage and bloodlust influence its behavior, and it relishes in the opportunity to kill anyone in sight.
Activity inside Gaara
As a host of the Shukaku, Gaara has the ability to move and levitate sand at will, and is protected at all times by the Shield of Sand, regardless of his will (even self-inflicted injuries are prevented by the sand). He also suffers from lifelong insomnia, a side effect of being the Shukaku's host. Whenever he falls asleep, the Shukaku would eat away his personality, making him a monster. The Shukaku, knowing full well, that if Gaara dies, it will die too, can control the sand itself to automatically protect Gaara's body from any harm.
When angry or in a state of bloodlust, Gaara can use the sand in his gourd to take the form of a miniature Shukaku or even create the giant copy of the Shukaku's body. It is only when Gaara begins to take on the Shukaku's forms is he allowed access to its wind element, such as Wind Release: Drilling Air Bullet. Gaara can even allow the Shukaku to take over the full Shukaku form by going to sleep, but is left vulnerable as his sleeping body is left unprotected on the Shukaku's head.
Extracted
Deidara is assigned to capture the Shukaku. After defeating Gaara in combat and taking him to the Akatsuki's lair, the Shukaku is forcefully extracted from Gaara, thus killing him. Gaara is resurrected through a combination of Chiyo's life-transferring technique and Naruto's chakra. Gaara's ability to control sand still appears to be intact, though to what degree remains unclear.
Trivia
Since Gaara was infused with the Shukaku from birth, it would seem that the Jinchūriki's elemental chakra abilities melded with Gaara's own, as the Kazekage used sand to pull Naruto's hand to his own. The ability the Shukaku grants is most likely wind nature and earth nature chakra. Kakashi's explanations in Part II indicate that elemental natures of variable type from normal result from the mixture of multiple natures simultaneously. Therefore, although there is no proof of this in either manga or anime, it would seem that a mixture of wind and earth natures of chakra would be sufficient to produce the sand manipulation.

When I woke up, Yuri-Chan wasn't there. She must have gone to get breakfast. Anyway I went to the recording studio, Chiyoko was hiding under the couch as I listened for the Demon Trio cd. I heard a new song that Kyuubi must have sung overnight.
"Want to sing a song for the Mimi Chimi CD?" I asked. Chiyoko nodded, very frightened. What has Misa done to her!?!

Chiyoko was talking about Misa. Just then, a 15 year old girl with Orange/Silver hair came in.
"I-it's v-very nice to meet you all...." She stuttered. I wondered if she was Yurikami, the bocat. I did a justu.
"Henge!" I said. Out from the girl was three neko tails. I was blushing.
"Sorry Yuri-chan! I always think that whenever a biju's small, it's young." I was embarassed. No wonder Kyuubi calls me baka. I remind myself acting like that Naruto Uzumaki kid.
"It's okay Shukaku-Sempai! I understand." Yuri-chan said. I became a sempai? What am I, Deidara!?! I didn't mind it.
"Why don't you and Chiyoko play with my sister Misa while I go talk to Kyuubi?" I asked. Yuri was happy to meet new friends. I noticed Chiyoko trying to be nice about it, but was scared inside. I reassured them that if anything happened, I'll save them.

"HE WHAT!?!" I yelled. Kyuubi gulped.
"He went in the hot tub with Misa..." I heard a big boom next door. I looked out the window and Kyuubi's house was exploded. I sighed.
"Someone bombed your house, Kyuubi. So you and your sister can sleep with me..." Kyuubi was shocked. I said goodbye to Hachi and Kai as they walked out into their house. I noticed it was raining outside. I was about to go to my room when I heard a meow. A small, 3 tailed kitty was walking down the hallway, dripping wet.
"Hi there. What are you doing in my house?" I asked politely. The girl kitty stared at me as I lifted her up to my chest.
"My name is Yurikami. Why do you care for me, human? I'm only a biju..." Yes, I was in human form when I picked Yuri-chan up.
"That's because I am a biju," I smiled as I held up my tail, "I am Shukaku Ichibi. Do you have a home?" Yuri shook her head. I carried her into my bedroom.
"You can sleep with me." I said as I layed her down gently into the comfy bed with electric blankets. We soon started sleeping. I heard Yuri talking in her sleep.
"Why don't you love me, mama?" She says a lot, "Is it because I'm a biju?" I knew she was scared and alone. Then she woke up and shook me.
"Shukaku, I'm scared..." Yuri said. I cuddled next to her, giving my warm belly into her soft clod head. I sung her a lullaby.

Yurikami finally went to sleep. The last words I heard her say before she went to sleep smiling was:

Misa poked Chiyoko as I was drinking all the sake before Kai comes back and drinks it all.
"How about we make a band together like big brother and his band?" Misa asks. Chiyoko was worried.
"Do I have to be in chains?"
"No...I play guitar and you play drums." Misa said. I looked at them confused, then whispered to Chiyoko.
"It's *hic* okay. If ya need help *hic*, I'll be there for you." I said smiling, then I blushed because I was drooling. I followed the two friends into the recording studio, swaying from side to side. I recorded the song into a cd, hoping that these demon sisters of Kyuubi and I can become great friends.

After I told Hachi to look for Kyuubi, I have to sing for my band's cd. The band's name is the Demon Trio. It contains me, Kyuubi, and demon curse sealed Sasuke. Since Sasuke's with Orochimaru and Kyuubi is running in my mansion, I have to do a song alone. As I was walking to my recording studio, Misa and Chiyoko followed me. Finally, someone likes meh singing. I adjusted the microphone and sang.

"I didn't know you can sing good..." Chiyoko commented. I can't stop picking that cute wolf up and hugging it. It's so cute when she asks questions.
"Thanks. At least some demons like my singing. I want you and Misa to stay on my shoulders. I don't want you to get lost in this big mansion." The two girls climbed onto my shoulders as I'm started talking to Chiyoko about biju and my new house.
"How many number of tails of a biju represents their strength. 1 being the weakest and 9 being the strongest," I said. Chiyoko looked sad cuz' I have one tail and Kyuubi has 9, "But it's okay. Havong one tail means I can move around more easily. Anyway, there's the video game room, my bed room, the weapons room, the Club meetings room, the sake room-Wait! There's a lot of sake there. If I get drunk, maybe I can find Kyuubi." Quickly, I walked into the sake room with caution.
