I sat in my room wondering about the trip to New York. I was mostly upset because my supposed "friend" Shukaku, not only gave a CD of me singing to someone I didn't know, but invited his demon of a sister as well. "Maybe I just won't go"
I was deeply upset, I didn't even care that my black hair was even getting in my eyes. "Yeah, I'm just not going to go on this trip! Heck, I'll be gone before Shukaku and his demon get here!"
That was a good plan! I started to grab everything I was taking on the trip to run away immediately. "I have nothing to loose! I have no parents, this house is owned by me and I don't have to pay for it, and I'll get away from that Misa! Perfect!"
I grabbed the suit cases, climbed out my window, and took off. "They'll never see me again!" I grunted as I stormed off.
I was walking for a while, yet I felt I wasn't going anywhere. Then my concious (I have a concious?!) kicked in. 'Kyuubi, where do you think you are going?!'
"Anywhere but here, and you sound like a mother," I snarled
'You sure you won't regret this?'
"Heck No!"
'Dang, you're stubborn'
"If I wasn't, it wouldn't get me anywhere, now would it?"
I blocked off this so called "concious" after that. I soon sat down beside someone I hadn't seen before, nor had met. He looked over me and asked, "Where are you headed?"
I just stared straight ahead, not even looking at him, "Would you like to know?"
"I'm just curious is all," the stranger replied.
I sighed and told him the story. Amazingly, this person was very attentive from what I heard. "So you are leaving your friends just because of that stupid reason? You're a baka."
"You have no right to judge me."
"I realize that, but are you really sure you wish to leave your friends behind?"
I paused at the question. "... I'm... I'm not really sure."
"You'd be loosing a lot if you left."
"You're actually the first person that has ever made any sence to me."
"Actually, I'm a demon."
"You are?"
"Yep, name's Raijuu."
"I'm Kyuubi I'm a nine tailed fox."
"Interesting. I've never met another demon other than you."
"I have a lot of friends that are demons."
"So those were the friends you spoke of. I thought they were nucences."
"Yeah... They are... but I guess they are the only friends I have and have to deal with them."
We sat beside each other and decided to invite this guy to my home. "Say... um... Raijuu? Would you like to come to my house and stay over? Not that I care, but I was going on a trip with my friends and you could come along..."
"Sure. Just as long as you aren't as cold-hearted to your friends."
We then walked to my house, yet in my thoughts, I was repeating over and over 'Why do I even care about what he's saying, sure, now he's one of my friends, but heck, I can't loose myself to a guy who lives on the street.'
I scoffed at him quietly and said to myself, "He's just going to be like tham and get on my nerves later on."
