Taki's Origin: Secret Revealed

I'm trying my best to work myself into the stroy >_< Hope you like.

It almost never rains at the Okami residence. It always evaporates before it hits the ground. This isn't surprising to me. It seems it will never rain where I go.
I was given the name Takahara Okami, but I don't mind being called Taki. I am a wolf demon of the element of fire. I cope with this rather well.
I live behind the royal fences with my father Ryuho Okami and my adopted brother, Tadashi. My mother is dead...
"That choi...it's so pretty..." I stated one day.
I was outside on the Okami training grounds with Tadashi. The choi fluttered effortlessly around the baby blue sky.
"Don't waste your time, Taki." Tadashi scoffed.
I sensed a dark prescence and turned to see my father.
"Don't call her that Tadashi. Her name is Takahara and it shall remain that."
Tadashi nodded and went back to training, careful to avoid eye contact.
I kept my eyes on the choi. "All living things behold such beauty..." I chanted in a small whisper.
Just then a flame consumed the choi. I gasped as the flame died down to reveal nothing but ash.
"Worthless." Ryuho said as he stepped on the ash.
I lowered my eyes.
"Like you my dear Takahara." Ryuho grinned.
I stood up and grabbed him by the collar. "The only worthless thing I see is you."
"I'm sorry you feel that way. Your mother would be proud." Ryuho punched me.
I faded into a wolf and growled.
"You understand she had to go,right Takahara? She was a well respected lady in the Okmai clan. So much so, she had the power to eliminate me from the Okami name. I had to kill her, Takahara. And you were lucky enough to watch." Ryuho explained.
"But---Father! You told me she died of a fever!" Tadashi's eyes widened.
"Okami's don't die from fevers, Tadashi." Ryuho turned to face his pawn."Now say good bye to your sister."
I growled again and took off. I left the royal walls and the rising hatred inside. Yaki once told me that the day I left a mysterious thing happened.
It rained.
