My eyes slowly fluttered open. I sat up and looked at my surroundings. I was in a tree house.
"How'd I get here?" I muttered out loud, my voice broke.
Then it hit me. After I found Kyuubi I realized that I couldn't endanger anyone with two and possibly more strong bounty hunters after me. I had slipped away from the crowd and had went on search for somewhere to my own. Late into the night I had found this tree house. I was glad no one was in danger because of me anymore.
"G'morning dog."
My eyes widened as I turned around to see Tadashi sitting in the tree house window. "Tadashi-"
He stepped down and came closer. I crawled to my feet and tried to take off but he grabbed my wrist. "None of that today." he shook his head."Just thought I'd let you know that it'd be best to sleep with one eye from now on."
"What? You're not going to take me home?" I asked, all the fight had left me.
"Why should I? This is part of my training. Do you think I'm really that cheap to kidnap someone while their asleep?"
I rolled my eyes. Was I really that weak? Tadashi set me down. "By the way, do you know anything about that explosion?"
"Explosion?!"
"I'm taking that as a no then." He stood and lept out of the window.
Explosion?! What the freak?!
