Hachi Drunk=Bad

I sighed and looked out to the city's nightlife. It was stupid to be here in the first place, but we had to get Shukaku back. Thank God Kia didn't come. Seing that Kyuubi was on a rampage and the others were looking for Shukaku on their own, I was on my own.

"The worst place to be," I sighed, "sssssurounded by humanssss and sssake. "

"You going to be ok Hachi?" Houkou asked comming up from behind.

"No," I answered.

"We'll find Shukaku and be out of here," Neka's voice answered.

I walked away from them both out into the night. It was a really hot night, and being cold-blooded, I found I felt more alive than usual. My feet brought me to a casino. I don’t know what possessed me to walk in, but I did. It was not like I had any money or liked humans or sake, but something seemed to call me in. The cool air made me a tad sad, but I brushed through the front door and past a guard. I walked though the mass of people hearing random bits of conversation here and there.

"Man I lost big,” someone sighed.

“I can’t figure out why the slots don’t like me,” someone else said.

“I need more money,” a third said.

“Do all humans here all complain?” I asked to myself.

A man looked up from a slot machine and grabbed me by my shirt.

“What did you say skinny?” the man asked.

What I couldn’t figure out was what he meant by skinny. Was it wrong to be thin?

“Leave me alone,” I tried not to hiss.

“Look you have a problem with me and I’ll kill you!” the man said angrily.

“You are a ssssstupid denssssssssssse drunk,” I hissed this time.

“And you are a weird freak with an s problem. I’ll fix that problem by taking out your tongue!”

I was ready to transform and slit my fangs into him when I felt a weird chakra. It was a chakra I had not felt in a while. Tsunade….was here. She stood directly behind the man and had a kunai knife at his back.

“Leave,” Tsunade commanded.

The man dropped my shirt and walked away as fast as he could.

“The Witch,” I said.

“The Snake,” Tsunade answered.

“What are you doing here?” I asked.

“I could ask you the same question. Why are you here? Is this something for Orochimaru?”

“Asssssssssssssssssssss if,” I answered, “I ran him off a long time ago. I have a friend I am looking for.”

“I don’t trust you,” she answered.

“Ha not like I care if a human trusts me. What are you doing here?”

“Gamboling.”

“I wouldn’t think any more of you.”

“Ha are we going to have to fight?”

“I wouldn’t recommend it.”

“You haven’t changed Hachimata.”

“Just Hachi would suffice. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a friend to find.”

“And you think he is here?”

“No.”

“Then why did you come?”

“I’m not entirely sure.”

“Well while you figure it out, want to lend me some money for the pachinko machines?”

“I don’t have human money.”

“Not even for the one that just spared you a beating?”

“Do you really think I could be beaten up?”

“Well in human form I could imagine it.”

“I am a demon. I could easily eat him.”

“You are no fun.”

“Glad to be.”

“Well then continue on your way and don’t cause any disturbances, and I will leave you alone.”

“Much obliged.”

I walked away unharmed, and Tsunade walked away still without money. As I continued along, I watched drinks be guzzled down by the millions. I finally decided to sit down.

“Hey do you want a drink or what?” a bartender asked.

I looked at him with my demon eyes. He paled and walked away. Someone sat next to me, and I was ready to tell them to leave when he turned to look at me. Isonade looking fairly beat up was looking at me.

“Hachimata,” he said smiling, “the whole gang is here.”

“I’m guessing that is Kyuubi’s work on your face?”” I asked.

“Sadly he can’t take a joke. Did you see Tsundae?”

“What about her?”

“She has lost more than fifty thousand dollars here.”

“And?”

“I was thinking if I paid her bills, I could get with her.”

“Pervert,” I laughed.

“You are one to talk you closet gambler.”

“Is that like a closet gay?”

“Maybe.”

“What do you want?”

“Just thought you wanted to get a drink with me.”

“I don’t drink sssssssssssake and you know that.”

“Ya, but I want to see what happens when you do.”

“It’d be a blood bath.”

“You exaggerate.”

“Ssssorry, but it issss true.”

“Then just get some lemonade.”

“Fine.”

Isonade ordered the drinks, but as I began to drink it, I realized that there was sake in it. It was too late, I was drunk…Dam….There was going to be blood...
