I was in Russia! Northern Russia to be exact but still Russia! It was so flat! I breathed in the crisp air and smiled. I loved it here! My legs took me further and further into the core of Russia. Soon I came to a village. It looked cold, but I needed supplies.
I walked in slowly looking around. After several tries I found an inn to stay for the night. The lady at the counter looked a tad afraid but I guessed she was not used to people actually comming in.
"I'm Kai," I said smiling, "I came here for the ice and snow."
"You are a rarity around here. Well we certainly have a lot of that around here. Are you a ninja?"
"Kinda a ninja in training. I want to become really strong with ice attacks," I smiled for some reason this lady reminded me of Maki. She didn't seemed to mind my talking so we continued.
"So you want to be come powerful," the lady started, "Why?"
"I want to be able to protect the things I want," I said eating a piece of meat she had made for dinner.
"You want to protect? That is something I have never heard of. But it seems your heart is in the right place."
"Ya I have a brother back home who beat some sense into me," I smiled actually happy that Hachi had been so strict on my training.
"Well as long as you have the will there is a way. I never did introduce myself I'm Sarah," Sarah said smiling.
"Nice to meet you," I answered, "So why were you so afraid when I entered?"
Sarah dropped the spoon she was using, and the metal hitting the wood floors echoed throughout the first floor.
"I....don't want to talk about it," Sarah said grabbing another spoon and begining to stir soup again.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to interfear with you buisness," I answered, but this bugged me.
