I was lying in bed when Chiyoko came in. She put my clothes (now dry) on a chair and sat on my bed. She put a damp rag on my forehead. "How are you feeling oni-san?"
"I'm all right," I said, trying to get up.
She stopped me. And tried to get me to lay down again. "You need some rest oni-san."
I put my hand on her head. "Don't worry, I'm fine," I said smiling.
I got out of bed and was feeling better. I got dressed when Chiyoko left the room. After I was dressed, I left the room and was hit with a fan. "Baka! This is your fault you know! You caused trouble for all of us!" Kokoro yelled at me.
I took my katana out, but Suki was here. "Don't you hurt my Kyuubi-kun," she growled.
It wasn't worth my time, I'd just tell her the truth. "Stupid little girl, Shukaku brought us here in the first place and caused the havic. Not me. I'm not in control of that baka's actions."
Kokoro turned her head with a defiant expression. "We aren't staying in France, remember? We have homes in Japan and we can't stay," I continued.
All nodded, but Chiyoko seemed a little disappointed. "If it's okay with you, I'm going to take a walk," I said, going out the front door.
There was a calming breeze in France, but once we got back to Japan, I'd like to stay home for a while. I walked into the forest and saw Dizzy. She was with Erazor, or as he called himself "Maku."
"I'm Dizzy not Juniper," Dizzy said to the villain.
"NO," he shouted, picking her up by the neck, "YOUR NAME IS JUNIPER!"
Dizzy was struggling and I couldn't take it. I came out from behind the tree and aproached. "She's Dizzy Rage, you bastard!"
Maku smiled a devilish smile. "Oh, she won't remember that soon," he said, grabbing an amulet and tossing it to Dizzy, "here Juniper."
The amulet was around her neck and she zoned out. She was confused, but then stared at me angrily. "WHAT DO YOU WANT YOU BEAST?! I DONT KNOW YOU! WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!" she yelled at me.
Maku chuckled. "YES JUNIPER! HE'S THE ENEMY, YES!"
I glared at the evil man. "What? Just because I beat you and you had to retreat, you think it'll make a difference if you use her again "Maku"?"
Dizzy listened to my voice and started to calm down. "Who are you any ways? You look familar, but since I dont know you, I think you're an enemy. I don't want to die! That's what he said you are trying to kill me, and I won't let you who ever you are!" she said, raising her hammer.
I looked at her with a calm face. I had to warp my logic to what Erazor was making her think. "Why would I wanna kill you? I don't have a reason," I responded, "Your name's... Juniper right?"
Dizzy looked at me with shock. "Yes, how do you know?"
Maku tried to get her against me again. "Your Juniper Rage, and your real name is Dizzy Rage, but Juniper is your nickname."
Dizzy had a confused/relaxed expression. "Oh, okay, but who are you? He says I've never seen you before."
I folded my arms behind my head and smiled, acting calm and trying to avoid fighting today after that incident. "My name's Yoko, Kyuubi."
Dizzy lowered her hammer. "I used to play with you, but you left some time ago," I said.
Dizzy looked to be in deep thought. "Did I? But, I don't remember that. Did I really play with you???"
She was questioning herself, but I did used to play with her. We trained when I had some spare time and Chiyoko went off to shop or play with one of the other members. "You must've forgotten," is what I said in response.
She put her hammer down and held her head. "I can't remember anything about my past. I can remember this girl that was nice to me. She really cared for me, but that was a long time ago. She's probably dead," Dizzy said sadly.
She did remember her past! If I could reach that part of her mind. I could get her on my side again. "You mean Storm?" I asked her.
She looked up at me. "Who's Storm? I don't know a Storm," she said questionably.
I pulled a picture of her and Storm out of my wallet and handed it to her when she approached me. "Does she look familiar?"
She shook her head. "Who is she and why am I in the photo too?"
I said strongly and calmly. "She's your sister."
Dizzy dropped the picture in utter shock. "No... It can't be true! Y-your lying aren't you..." she said, backing up.
"Maku" realized that I was tapping into Dizzy's former memory and tried to gain her back. "Juniper! NO, DON'T LISTEN TO HIM!"
Dizzy was crying and dropped to the ground. "NO!" she shouted, "I don't know what is right from wrong anymore! I don't even know who I am anymore!"
I growled at him. This was low. To do this to a little girl, even if she was a demon. "Maku, you're the one who's causing her to forget! Storm is very sick and worried about her! Why do you just want to manipulate her if you want to kill me?!" I snapped, my fangs showing.
Maku smiled like it was nothing. "I want you to kill her too."
Dizzy stopped crying. "WHAT?! I trusted you, but if you want to be like that!"
She ripped the amulet he had put around her neck. Maku wasn't happy. "Wha-what? Where am I? Who am I?"
Maku's frown of dispair disappeared into a smile of evil happiness. "HA HA! NOW THAT THE AMULET HAS SUCKED OUT HER MEMORYS, SHE DOSEN'T REMBER YOU OR STORM!"
But at the mention of Storm's name, she started to speak "Storm. My sister Storm!"
"WHAT?!"
My fox ears and tail were showing. I was pissed. "Maku, you're a disgrace! Using a girl to do your dirty work?! That's low. You're going to leave now or I will kill you."
The coward took the easy way out and exited. "Who am I, and where's s-sister Storm? M-mister, where are we? I'm scared too," she said, nearly in tears.
I gave her a light smile and held out my hand. "It's all right, Dizzy. You're okay, I'll help you find your sister."
She looked at my hand. "Okay, b-but w-who a-are y-you m-mister?" she asked, grabbing my hand.
I pulled her up. "My name's Kyuubi. I'm a friend of your sister's" I said, starting to walk into the forest, smelling Storm's scent.
"Okay, um... it's kinda dark, but I'll follow," she said, clenching to my leather jacket.
I gave her a smile and pulled her next to me. I put my arm around her in a protecting way saying, "Here, you can get closer, you'll be fine. I'll help you any way I can, don't worry."
She nodded and looked around. Dizzy looked up and asked, "Kyuubi? Why is this place so gloomy?"
"The forests seem dark around this hour," I replied, "it almost seems as if it's going to rain again."
"I hope not," she said.
We walked for a while, until we came upon a lone apple tree. Dizzy was hungry and looking at the apples with wide eyes. I picked a red apple for her that was big, round, and void of scratches and handed it to her. She thanked me and I decided to get one for me, but I got a small apple because I wasn't too hungry. Then all the sudden, the both of us heard crying. "Huh? Someone's crying? Who is she?" Dizzy asked.
"I hear it too, but where is it coming from?"
Dizzy didn't know, but she pointed north. I nodded and let her climb on my back. I started to run toward the crying. I knew it was Storm's, but suddenly, the crying stopped. "I hear it running toward us," Dizzy said, hiding her head.
I jumped up into a tree and looked down, at first I didn't know it was Storm, but Dizzy fell and wasn't attacked. Dizzy started to cry, but I jumped down and pulled her up. "It's all right, she's a friend."
"Who is she though?"
I turned to Storm who had a questionable look on her face. "It was him."
Dizzy crawled up to Storm and fell asleep. "I don't want Dizzy to end up in his hands, becoming an evil princess."
"I know," I responded.
"I want you to train her, you're the King of Biju."
I thought it over, but agreed. Once Dizzy woke up, I took her hand and Storm left. "Come on Dizzy, I'll take you to the others and we'll start training."
She nodded with a smile. "Okay Kyuubi-sensei!"
And both of us left the forest. I won't let you down Storm.
