I sighed. It seemed everything was calm for now. I was happy to have a bit of peace after all this. I had told Aki the full story and he went to go help clear the damage. There was still a pit in my stomach about what Dark had done. He had killed people.
"Hachi......" Maki said looking at me, "Hachi you're really pale....are you ok?"
"I'll be fine....." I sat down near Kyuubi and put my back up against something. I was a tad dizzy for some reason. I guessed it had to do with the amout of blood that I had managed to lose. I looked at my fingers and saw the slash Dark had made up my skin. The bleeding had stopped, but it had still stained my fingers.
"Hachi," Kyuubi said so that no one else could hear, "We have done bad."
"Kyuubi," I answered, "There isss nothing we can do now about it."
"Still......people were killed......"
"And we can't bring them back," I finished, "all we can do is look forwardsss."
"Your game still going?" Kyuubi asked.
"Naw I won.....the opponet ssssucked," I smirked.
"Criticizing is bad you know," Kyuubi answered but made an advancement towards a smile.
"heh but when your delusional it doessssn't matter....." I smirked.
"Hachi.....what's wrong with your chakra?" Kyuubi asked seeming to notice it for the first time.
"Heh I have nearly none left, but you can feel it heh.....don't worry about it....I'm jussst lacking a bit of, if you don't mind the pun here, blood heh," I laughed.
"I took that much out of ya?" Kyuubi sighed.
"Naw it'sss Dark'ssss fault," I smirked back, "He didn't feel anything ssso he let my body take a lot of damage heh."
"Sorry....." Kyuubi said quietly.
"I ssshould be the sssorry one. If I hadn't ssuccumed to Dark ssso easssily, we wouldn't be in thiss messs heh," I laughed.
"But still....." Kyuubi said looking down.
"Don't take it sssso hard," I laughed. I was definitly delusional now. I leaned back farter still laughing.
"Weirdo.....heh," Kyuubi laughed.
"Call me what ya want....I don't care," I laughed.
"Hachi?" Suki said. Her hand went to my head, but I kept her out of my head. She seemed to recoil at the fact that I had pushed her conciousness away, but tried to relax.
"Hachi.....are you sure you're ok?" Kai asked.
"Heh I'll be fine," I answered, "jussst need a nap when we get home."
