I sighed and continued walking. I was ready to go back to Suki's house and get Kai and Maki. We couldn't stay at Suki's forever. I walked up to her front door and wondered whether or not to knock. I could.....and wait for Suki to open the door....or I could just go in....I grabbed the handle and it opened. I sighed and walked in.
Maki was in the kitchen making something to the effect of a vanila cream pie while Kai and Suki were playing video games in the front room. Kai and Suki looked up when I entered and then went back to playing.
"Hey Hachi!" Maki said as I walked into the kitchen, "Did you have a nice walk?"
"Ya," I answered.
"Dark," Ryusemi said in my head. I pushed him away. Kai suddenly stopped and called.
"Hcahi did you say something?" he asked.
"No," I called back.
"Ssstop doing that," I hissed in my head, "Kai can hear you."
"Hachi? Hachi? Hachimata??? Hello? Anyone home?" Maki asked for the hundreth time.
"Hu?" I asked looking at here.
"You space out too much," Maki said, "Try a bite of this!"
Maki held up a fork and shoved it in my mouth. An overpowering sweet flavor exploded in my mouth.
"Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm" I smiled.
"I knew you would like it," Maki smirked.
Suddenly I felt something click in my mind, and once again I was back in my dream. There was nothing around but Dark and I. Dark was still chaned, but I felt the fear I had before.
"Hachimata? You returned...." Dark smirked, "Couldn't get enough of me?"
"Usssss," I answered.
"You accept that?" Dark asked.
"I have from the begining, but why do you feel the need to keep pulling me here?"
"You do that on your own. I have no abilites any more assssssss you can tell from the chainsssssss....."
"I hate you," I said flatly.
"And I you....." Dark answered, "But we are both jussst going to have to deal with it unlessss you want Kyuubi to kill me....."
"That issssssssssss what I want," I answered.
"Then asssssk him to....I'm ssssure that he would be more than happy to remove me from thisssss world....."
"You would give me the keysss to your own demissse?" I asked.
"I have nothing left Hachimata......I wassss born from the darknesss in your own heart....I am you...and you ssstripped me of it.....you ssstripped me of everything.....you took my power and left me to myssself in thissss light....I would be happy to die...."
"You want Death....." I smirked, "Then I will kill you here."
"Do it then," he smirked.
My hands formed the thousand snake jutsu Dark had used on Suki, but at the last moment I could not do it. My fingers trembled, and I stopped.
"You are weak...." Dark hissed, "You would not even kill the one that killed you!"
"I am not you Dark....I won't kill," I answered.
"If I could! I would kill you again!" Dark hissed. The chains rattled as he growled and hissed.
"Dark...." I said quietly, "I am not afraid of you nor will I do a childish thing and attack you.....I am not that piece......"
"Chessssssssss now?" Dark asked.
"Asssssssss it alwayssssssssss issssssss," I answered.
I left Dark to struggle and retured to look at Maki. She was staring at me trying to decipher what I was thinking.
"Oh sssssorry," I said putting my hand to the back of my head, "Did I ssspace out again?"
"Yep," Maki answered.
"I'll try not to do that again," I answered.
"You do that," Maki said looking at me funny and then begining to cover her pie like thing with frosting.
