I couldn't take it any more. Kyuubi played with my mind like it was a toy. I hissed angrily at him feeling my skin tighten and all my senses come sharply alive.
"Sssstop it!" I yelled grabbing my head.
The missing thing was ravaging its way into me harder and faster than before. It was as if I was slashing at myself over and over again with an unknown weapon.
"Hachimata.....why did you kill yourself?" Kyuubi asked.
"Get out of my head dam you!" I hissed.
"Hachimata.....why?"
I yelled out again that I was not nor would ever be Hachimata. Kyuubi didn't seem to care for the agony he was causing me. Dam I wish I hadn't eaten all those humans. If I hadn't then they would be running back to D. Kyuubi and bringing him.
"I killed him.....becausssse I hated him," I answered feeling a new hate for everything erupt inside. I wanted to destroy him. This was Kyuubi's doing.
"You're lying Hachimata...." Kyuubi sighed.
"I AM NOT HIM!" I hissed glaring at him now.
"You're lying again," Kyuubi seemed to chuckle, "Hachimata is Hachimata no mater what you try to do that is a fact. Even when you take a new name and kill a part of yourself, you can't escape that."
"Why," I asked, "Why why why why why why why why! Why do you care what I am! Why do you tourture me with holessss! That'sss it! I will kill you! I will Kill you!"
I prepared to uleash the snakes that I had inflicted on Suki so long ago. My hand signs were nearly complete when the feeling became physical. It felt as if my entire body had shut down. I couldn't move or breathe.My body seemed to fall of its own accord forcing me to the ground. My head rested on the cold ground, and I felt myself currling up into a ball.
"You're just hurting yourself....." Kyuubi said returning his voice to the dry deadness he had abandoned for a bit.
"Why did I....why did I kill myself....." I asked over and over again.
"You've lost your mind," Kyuubi comented. He sounded like he could be comenting about the weather.
"I killed him....." I said, "No I killed me......I killed myself.....and Maki and Kai.....why...."
"Because somewhere inside you, you wanted to end your own life Dark...." Kyuubi answered saying my name, "You felt that if you ended Hachimata's life....you would end your own...."
"But I lived!" I hissed back, "I lived and he died!"
"Hachimata never died......Kai and Maki were killed but Hachimata never died..." Kyuubi answered.
"I killed him!" I yelled, "I killed him!"
A silence broke lose after that. My body continued to invoulentarily shudder, but except for the sounds of my muscles rubbing against each other, there was nothing.
"You are Hachimata....." Kyuubi said after a long time.
