His Power and The Truth

Kyuubi had taken Suki out of the clearing as fast as he could, Hatchimata lay on the ground, repeating his phrase on and on.

"So...That's his power." Tora said out loud.

Francis gave her an awkward glance. "Huh..."

"It seems Kyuubi can know a persons soul, just by hearing their voice." she purred.

"Like Nekomata..."

"Only more powerful..." she whispered.

Francis began to collapse again, but Tora held him firmly.

"Why are you in so much pain...?" she asked.

"Because...I'm supposed to be dead." he spat.

"What do you mean." not asking.

"As first born, I was supposed to be killed by Nekomata...I had to make her hate me enough to finally kill me. Matthew knew it too, so he'd pitch along in the arguments...." he explained, panting.

"That's why you left with your father...To give Nekomata more pain."

"I won't die yet, I can only die in the of her blood...That's why her children have to trust me....But it seems Kyuubi may be right....They hate me for not saving their mother."

"That means..." Tora began, processing the data.

"I'm immortal...." He said smirking. He felt a hand on his back. In wasn't Tora's. He glanced back.

"Nozomi?" He gaped.
