Just coming here to say goodbye to everyone. I've decided to leave the club, as my creative fire for this group has fizzled out and I've never felt Asuka was a part of the bijuu "family." It's been awesome, guys! I'll still make sure to visit this WORLD on a regular basis to see how everything works out~~

Asuka ran. She ran away from the fight between Dutch and his dark self, away to the hotel, where she locked herself inside her room and threw herself onto her bed. This was all too much. Ever since she joined Teh Biju Club, her life's routine was thrown out of sync. She hadn't had decent sleep in weeks, and every day she was dealing with new problems and other bijuu. She had just about had it with this new life. How she longed to be back in her Tokyo apartment, quietly doing whatever she did, living her life day to day, in harmony with the humans.
"You know..." Chishio's voice echoed in her head, "You could quit this 'club' and forget about the whole 'other bijuu' business." Asuka shifted and sat up. It was true. She could resign from Teh Biju Club. But what about the friends she had made here? She bit her lip while considering the gains and losses of retiring. After a while, she made her decision. She pulled a piece of paper and a pen from the hotel room's dresser drawer and began to write. Write about how much she hated to go, but then listed the reasons why she should. She then wrote about how much she would miss her friends, and gave special thanks to several people. Next she packed her luggage. When that was done, she grabbed her suitcases and the letter, left the room key on the table, and started down the hallway.
The only place she knew where to leave the note was at Dutch's door; she slid it into his room through the space between the door and the ground. She made her way down to the lobby, and after a couple of phone calls, she was scheduled to depart for Japan in a couple of hours at the local airport. After about thirty minutes of waiting, a taxi cab pulled up at the hotel, and she climbed in the back and left for the airport.
Asuka was finally going home.

"Flight B-311 is scheduled to leave for Tokyo, Japan, in twenty minutes. Please, if you are a passenger leaving on this plane, board now. I repeat..." the automated voice chimed over the airport's intercom. Asuka took the last bite of the Danish that she had bought and hurried over to her terminal. She seemed to walk down the long passageway in slow motion. She was leaving all of her friends behind. But it was for a good cause, she assured herself. It was for a good cause.
As the plane jetted off the runway and into the bright blue sky, Asuka thought about what the others' reaction to her sudden absence. She was sure it wouldn't faze them much. This was the start of new beginnings for her, and she would refuse to look back. Lingering in the past wouldn't do much good, would it?
But someday, she would visit them again. Someday.
Fingering her bell choker and then the necklace with the small tube which held the glass shard that sparkled like diamonds, she smiled to herself. Slowly, she drifted off into slumber, where she dreamed of the endless bamboo forests that she and her Red Panda bijuu inside of her so dearly loved.
