At last, the case of the missing children comes to a close. Noah's Ark Circus was the culprit, and has been punished accordingly; it's time to pick up the pieces and rebuild. Yes, especially the rebuild part, for the right wing of the manor was damaged quite severely due to the other servants incompetence (what letter of QUIETLY did they not get?). As I clear the rubble, I saw the remains of a familiar scarf that belonged to a certain person I had a one-night stand with. I nonchalantly threw it into a sack. You must think me heartless, but really, she's just one of the hundreds, no, thousands of individuals that I have been sexually involved with in my quite lengthy lifespan. So, please take no offense.
This day went quite well, I think. Even with the whirlwind of activities that are expected every time Lady Elizabeth visited, plus the arrival of the rather eccentric tailor, Miss Nina Hopkins, I somehow managed to rebuild the damaged part of the manor before dinnertime. After all, as the earl of Phantomhive's butler, how can I not accomplish such a simple task?
I guess, our days for now will be quite idle; I wonder when will we receive the next case? I'm quiet eager for some action. (I wonder how Betty is doing...now that her handler is dead, who could be the one taking care of her? Poor thing, I should visit her some time. I rather miss her soft, large paws...)
And so, the Circus ends...
End
