Hello my lovelies, I bid you welcome to my little house of horrors. Sorry I've been missing from this world for so long, I've had many thing to take care of as of late. However, I am here now and my October creepfest is long overdue I think.

Today my dear creeps and creepettes, we are going to discuss actual entries from the pokedex. I believe that, once this is brought to your attention you will understand why some have dubbed them the "creepyDex entries". We shall also discuss some of my personal favorite creepy pasta stories. The last thing on my list is a pokemon/halloween/general creepyness ask me anything video. Once everything is said and done in this post please leave thoughts, comments, and questions for my video in the comments below. The video will be posted on Halloween night. Now without further Adieu, let's get started with the creepyDex entories shall we?
I'm sure you are aware of this pokemon by now yes? Our dear little friend Spoink?
This is a small and harmless pokemon at first glance yes? Did you know trainers are the leading cause of death for this little guy? Looking at the Dex entries for him we learn that...
"Spoink bounces around on its tail. The shock of its bouncing makes its heart pump. As a result, this Pokémon cannot afford to stop bouncing - if it stops, its heart will stop." - pokemon ruby
If this pokemon stops bouncing even for a minute it heart stops. So while you're innocently level grinding on that valcano...all those spoink's you fought against are dead....they fainted and stopped bouncing...their hearts stopped...and all because you needed to level before fighting against the gym leader.
Moving on, did you know that pokemon also has it's own version of Santa Clause? Yes I am speaking of the sweet, kind hearted pokemon known as Delibird.
Delibird is as I said just a moment ago a kind hearted creature. There is no reason to fear him right? I mean, he even looks like jolly old Saint Nick carrying his sack of toys for all the good little young girls and boys. What on earth could be terrifying about that you ask?
"It nests at the edge of sharp cliffs. It spends all day carrying food to its awaiting chicks." - pokemon silver
This doesn't seem bad at first...until you realize that you fought a few to get through ice cave...and that you managed to catch one before leaving. Once again you have effectively killed something without meaning to. Those chicks on the cliff will no longer get any food and slowly waste away. All because you wanted a full pokeDex.
Let's move on to something a bit more terrifying shall we? You remember Duskull I'm sure. He even held your money for you when you were turned into a pokemon in the pokemon mystery dungeon game "explorers in time". Not only does he look like a pint sized chibi reaper but he's got a bone chilling obsession as well. Let's take a look...
"Duskull can pass through any wall no matter how thick it may be. Once this Pokémon chooses a target, it will doggedly pursue the intended victim until the break of dawn." - pokemon ruby
"It loves the crying of children. It startles bad kids by passing through walls and making them cry." - pokemon platinum
So not only does this little guy pass through walls to chase down its victim but it LOVES the crying of children...Oh how lovely...be good kids, or duskull will find you.
Let's dig a bit darker yet into these creepyDex entries. Next we meet Driffloon.
How cute it looks like a balloon. There can't be anything wrong with this one right?...My dear friend, you couldn't be more wrong....
"It is whispered that any child who mistakes Drifloon for a balloon and holds on to it could wind up missing." - heart gold soul silver
So, if a child mistakes this pokemon for a balloon...it in essence "spirits them away". So Duskull makes children cry and Drifloon spirits them away. How is pokemon a childrens game again?
You think it doesn't get darker than this? You're dead wrong my lovelies. It gets darker and more terrifying I promise you. Let's meet haunter shall we?
The original bad ass. He's got the looks, the power, and the mischief that naturally draws young children to him. To bad he's going to kill you...
"By licking, it saps the victim's life. It causes shaking that won't stop until the victim's demise." -pokemon yellow
"In total darkness, where nothing is visible, Haunter lurks, silently stalking its next victim." - pokemon gold
Simply by licking you, this pokemon can drain your very life force from you...to the point of death. Not only that but it's HUNTING you. I'd care a cleansing tag around if I were you...
I think it's time to kick it up a notch and bring out the big guns. I don't think I've scared you guys enough so I give you the final creepyDex entry for today...Oh yeah, I'm talking about Yamask.
So this guy seems to be a ancient Egyptian pokemon judging by its looks. Cool, cool, that's always something interesting. Well...this little guy has one hell of a dark secret...did you know...it used to be human?
"Each of them carries a mask that used to be its face when it was human. Sometimes they look at it and cry." - pokemon black
"These Pokémon arose from the spirits of people interred in graves in past ages. Each retains memories of its former life." - pokemon white
Not only is it possible to turn into this thing once we die but, we retain our memories of our past life AND carry around our faces. Carry them around and cry when we look at them. So now I ask you...is pokemon really the happy go lucky children's game you grew up thinking it was?

Now I love both of these creepy pastas because they have so much meaning behind them. They used the actual Dex entry to create the song for Hypnos' lullaby. I think that's amazing. They also did a wonderful job on the creepiness factor of it.
Pokemon creepy black was my first creepy pasta so naturally it's my favorite. I've heard some dedicated fans are even making this story a playable rom. So be on the look out for that if you really wanna good fright night.
Now last but not least I want to do something special for Halloween this year. So I ask all of my lovely trainers out there to ask me any questions that have to do with halloween, scary movies, pokemon, anything creepy really. Like for example "Where do you shop for costumes?" or "Why are you so demented aznd trying to scare the piss out of us?" xD "what got you into pokemon in the first place?" ask me anything so long as its pokemon or creepy related. Also I want to know what you guys think about everything I post here and what I've posted today. I want to know what you guys as my readers want out of my world here.
