Hi there everyone and thank you for visiting "The mainframe",this world is dedicated to guide all my fellow otaku sharpen their skils at drawing fanart making use of some knowlege I have gained over these 7 years of drawing fanart, now I'm not saying I have all the answers(as all artist have their own unique styles & ways of doing things)but I believe I can give some pointers on certian area's you might wanna improve on.So where do we begin?I believe we begin by pointing out the most important atribute any artist should have namely, CONFIDENCE in yourself(if you give up too easly or tell yourself I'll never be able to draw well-that is the the most common ellement that is holding back most artists-remember practise makes perfect, and i'm not just saying that-it took me 2 years of practice before I could even draw one picture the way I wanted it)If you got that you may become a great artist(I believe no-one was born special or started to perform miricales the first time they got their hands on a pencil & piece of paper,so the only way to get there is through hard work & perceverence)So to basically sum it all up you need to have the correct state of mind before you can start out as a great artist, now I'll move on to drawing fanart(This explanation will be aimed at beginners)Most artists start out from reproducing existing pictures to gain the following skills,PROPORTION(this is basically a skill that involves accuracy in terms of how far spaced & at what angles your lines should be drawn)LINEWORK(this is a skill that measures the quality & cleanliness of your line work)IDEA(this is a skill that gives you an idea of diffrent styles & positions certian anime characters can be drawn at)CREATIVETY(this is a skill that measures your shading, colouring & rendering skill's)I'll Be posting Tutorials covering each and everyone of these aspects real soon-so PLZ visit soon for updates.
