Funeral March
I've never thought about what music I would want played at my funeral, but apparently others have. o_O There's even a thread on it if you'd like to post and let others know what you'd like to be played at your funeral. I suppose it makes sense to plan for things like this but it just seems a bit morbid to me.
I tried to think of something I'd like to be played, but my mind comes up blank. What about you? Do you have a song or series of songs in mind? Or do you even want to have a funeral in the first place? I know people who don't want one to be held.
New Year's

Yes I know it's a few days late, but better late than never right? =P Besides, this means that all of you can take a moment and think about what you did and what your resolutions are for this year.
I had planned to stay up and greet the new year myself. I was all set and even had some goodies to snack on while I waited. So what did I do? I fell asleep and missed it. XD I was so determined to not do that too!
So I made due with welcoming in the new year once I had woken up. Then I moved to the resolution part. I decided that this year I want to expand what I'm reading to include other types of stories that I normally don't include. The rest were the standard of chores before play, etc.
What about all of you? How did you spend new years and what resolutions did you make?

Now that the big day is over, how did it go and what did you get? ChibiHorsewoman was so curious to find out that she started a thread on it on Christmas Eve before most people had even gone to sleep. XD
For some reason I got lots of foodstuff this year, things you munch on. I don't mind though, you can never have too many snacks. I have plenty of games and other fun stuff that I got too.
So what did you get and if you don't do presents, what kind of day did you have? We got snowed on most of the day. It was really peaceful and pretty to watch. ^_^
Christmas List
I'm sure by now everyone has their list of what they'd like to get for Christmas this year. Usually I'm more excited over it, but maybe it's just because I'm finally getting older that it just doesn't seem all that important anymore. I am hoping for some nice things, but part of me doesn't care like I used to. I've gotten where I like the time I spend with my friends and my family more. This is probably why I didn't bother to answer the thread this year at OtakuBoards. o_O
Anyway, regardless of that change in how I feel about making a list, I do have stuff I wouldn't mind picking up. More music (Nightwish), books (Mercedes Lackey), anime (Tsubasa, for manga too), and video games (Vesperia, this one won't happen since I don't have an xbox).
What about all of you? What are you hoping to get this year? Rest assured, cheesy answers are welcome! Because even if it sounds cheesy because of how unattainable it currently is... world peace would be sweet. I'm not kidding either.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like if your parents gave you a really odd name? It's a bit extreme but one possibility is that stores won't even put your name on a birthday cake. o_O At first you might be thinking that's stupid, but wait until you hear what this poor kids name is. Adolf Hitler Campbell. That's right Adolf Hitler....
What kind of moronic parent gives their kid a name like that? Sangome started a thread on the news article over at OtakuBoards and the general consensus is that the parents are attention seeking morons. Normally I'd prefer to not make such a judgment but in this case I actually agree.
I kind of feel sorry for the kid. He's going to have people giving him grief over his name. If it were me, the moment I was old enough, I'd get it legally changed and disown my parents. XP
