I watched as Mia headed for the surrounding forest, then followed her. She hadn't been here that long, and if there was a fight, I could come in handy--after all, I was a much better fighter than Tessa--even when she tapped my abilities--and she could hold her own--sometimes. I admitted this last part grudgingly to myself as I walked, keeping my wings folded tightly against my back so as to not make any noise.
