'What is this?'
She asked as something wet fell down her cheeks
She'd felt this feeling before,
Once before she experienced this sensation
It's been a long time since she ever felt this way before
A long time ago this feeling of sadness would have been a normal thing to her
But that soon changed
She lost her entire family to a fire in one night
On that night she vowed never to shed tears for any one ever again
She swore that she would never feel sadness for any one
She would never feel anything for another person ever again
That night that her family died
She cried so hard that she nearly fell to her knees in exhaustion
She knelt beside a tree to help support her
So that she wouldn't fall
Her only reasons for living had died in those blazing flames
Her only reasons for living had turned to ashes in an instant
Nothing could bring them back
Nothing!
She wanted to live a life full of love and happiness
But all she ever got was sorrow
Sorrow instead of happiness
Grief instead of love
All her life had turned to ahses the night she lost her family,
Now she stood in the middle of nowhere
Wondering why she was feeling like something was choking her
Her eyes were so watery that the tears in her eyes began to fall down her cheeks
Every time the tears fell down her cheeks she would wipe them away
Only to find that there would be more tears to replace the others
She crying for the very first time
It's been a long time since she had shed tears before
She was shedding tears
