Its okay. Its still a fun game one of the reasons that this game is so popular is because the characters remember you. Not in a "hey I know you" more like "you look familiar" and thats about it. Its like your in a time loop and the main character (you the player) are the only ones that plays it. The timeloop thing is part of the game and story line.
There are people who had played the game said the characters felt alive to them and they felt the need to finish the game so the characters can have their happy ending.
ITS AMAZING AND I LOVE IT!!
I know I was upset I'd reset the game too early but I got over it and its still really fun to play. Honestly I haven't finished it and I haven't even beat the first level.
I already watched lets play of the game so I know how it ends but I'm still going to play it and try to finish it. But at my own pace because of work (and I'm bad at video games :P)

I've never heard of a game that does that, but it sounds really frustrating. What if someone completly finished the game and liked it so much they wanted to replay it? Or accidently reset it like you did? It seems cruel for a company to design a game this way.
