What is Net Neutrality?
Net Neutrality is the basic principle that prohibits internet service providers like AT&T, Comcast and Verizon from speeding up, slowing down or blocking any content, applications or websites you want to use. Net Neutrality is the way that the internet has always worked
So this effects everyone, from personal users to businesses big and small. To save Net Neutrality we need more people to speak out.
So everyone who lives in America and wants to save the Net Neutrality call your reps in Congress. Here's a link to find out who your rep is LINK or just Google it. Or use this website where it provides a script and it lets to call Congress directly LINK
If you are to socially anxious to speak to them directly then use Resisitbot
I used Resistbot as well but prepare a script in advance. Try to write a much as you can.
If we loose Net Neutrality then this website TheO will be probably be shut down. Its a small website and they might not be able to pay their ISPs if we were to loos Net Neutrality. This was the first website I joined and I would be devastated if that would happen.
And when you call and write be calm and professional don't go on an angry rant they'll just ignore you. And for those who don't believe your vote or actions matter. Yes they do, look I'm an awkward mess and a nobody but I'm not going to sit by. I'm going to keep writing and I'm going to call my rep.
