Max was the wielder of the Arubi Gemini a 2nd class weapon, and the only duel wielded Arubi weapon. She didn't like to kill, but she found an interest in the fact that 'James', as he had said, was weilding the 2nd most powerful arubi weapon in existance.
James was still ranitng when she walked up and grabbed his arm, casually saying, "let's go" as she did.
"Who the heck are you?" He exclaimed as he pulled his arm free in the alley that she had dragged him into.
"I'm Maxine, and I've got some news for you 'James', you should just parade around telling people of your weapon. The arubis are wanted by everyone here and those that want them would do anything to get their hands on them, understand?" Maxine asked.
"got it, no talking, gawd you people are crazy around here." James answered.
"Good, now let's talk about traveling plans shall we, where are we gonna go now?" Maxine asked, "by the way I like to be called Max for short, Big reader, Maximum Ride... You know how it is."
"Actually not really..." James looked puzzled, "I've never heard of it.."
"you need to read more, There's four of them and they're all big hits around here, I guess everyone just wants to fly." Max going on and on.
"enough about the book, I don't get out and read much so I don't know what you're talking about!" James yelled.
"Well maybe you should start!" she yelled back at him in a mimicing tone.
James just stopped talking and just walked away."hey wait for me!" Max followed.
