"Come on, we have to run. There is a monster behind us." Karu said. It was a very large dog-like monster with dark green fur, sharp teeth, and red eyes. It roared and Karu attacked it. Its fur now had a red spot on it.

The monster howled in pain. Yoko started growling at the monster, and bit it. While the monster was in pain, Grey took out a sword and slashed it in the opposite direction Karu did, making a red "X" on the monster's fur.

Tomoyo looked at Karu. He noticed scratches and bites all over her skin. Her white hair ribbon was stained red with blood, and her grey shirt had a red spot on it.

"Karu," Tomoyo said. "You are injured. You need help." "I won't! I won't give up, no matter what happens. I will even die fighting if I have to!" Karu protested.
