I groaned the light hurting my eyes,I looked at the clock it was just six I thought changing sides and putting the pillow over my head,when I suddenly remembered that She was staying here,and she was going to go to school with me today. "Crap!,I bet she is Angry at me" I said quickly standing up and grabbing my uniform,I ran past bathroom and quickly fixed my bed head hair. I quickly grabbed a bagel, I didn't have to time to rummage around the refrigerator for something good to eat for breakfast.
I opened the door to see her there,looking pretty annoyed "sorry" I let out the bagel in my mouth. "Let's get going " she said, “Or, I could carry you again,” she teased. I glanced at her she wouldn't “Thanks, but I don’t think my classmates would approve of that,” I said smiling down at her.
She nodded and smiled. “Keep going to school. Wait for me in front of the building,”kayden said running “Dia, stay here with him,” she said and Dia flew straight towards me, I watched as kayden left "So why do you call her Lady,she is just. Ordinary Demon hunter isn't she?" Dia shook her head, I nodded I will have to ask her about that. I thought "So does every one have a little fairy like you?" I said finishing the last of my bagel. "No just a few demon hunters are chosen."
I nodded and waited for kayden to arrive,It wasn't long when I saw her "what happened?" I asked walking down to kayden.
"Just a lowly Hell hound" she said irritated,I knew it wasn't the best time to ask her. "A Hell hound?" I asked confused I thought that only existed in fantasy book,that and demons which I was being proven wrong.
“That doesn’t sound good.” I said noticing there was a small gash in her arm,my eyes widened “What happened to your arm?” I asked. She sighed "I was bitten" she said taking a step forward when I noticed what she was about to do I put my hand right in front of her to stop her, "what?" She asked.
"Y-you can't just kiss me," I stammered. “Too many people would see, and then they would misunderstand. I don’t need rumors starting about the two of us already.” I said
“It isn’t kissing,” she said I knew it wasn't but many people will misunderstand it as a kiss. “I can’t heal myself. I need your essence.” She said covering her injured arm.
“What do you do in battle when that happens?” I asked,she might do something else to heal herself i thought her wound didn't seem that life treating.
“We have special flasks filled with human essence, but mine has been empty for a few weeks, and because I was coming here, where I could take your essence, I never bothered filling it up,” she shrugged her shoulders,she got injured very frequently then. I sighed and soon found a empty classroom “Ok, but make it quick.” I told her. “I don’t need much,” she said leaning on her tip toes and planted her lips into mine, I knew she was just sucking out my essence but I couldn't help but flush.
She pushed away, " I thought you said you only needed a little bit" I said walking over to the door, ".
"Shunsuke!" I heard I turned around to see hideki once again.
"What now?!" I said irritated
"You can't believe what me an-"he stopped when he saw kayden. I looked down at her and back at kayden.
"Man who's that hottie?" He. Whispered. I pushed him away lightly. "She is my emm" I struggle to remember what she had told me "neighbor" she said. "Yes my neighbor and my childhood friend since I was ten" I said "isn't that right kayden" I smiled.
"Then you don't mind me ask you this" he smirked not taking his eyes of her, "No I won't" I said
"Oh come on!". He said I walked away ignoring him.
The bell instantly rang the students ran in different directions.
"You have your schedule?" I asked.
She looked at me confused. I sighed and took out my own schedule from my last semester.
"This." I showed her.
"No where do you get that schedule" she asked "come I will take you" I said I didn't mind as long as I stayed away from English I was more than happy to help her.
I pushed the door open I was immediately greeted by a brown haired woman that looked to be about her mid forties. "Hello shunsuke what do you need?" She smiled. "My friend needs her schedule" I told her he nodded what's her name? " Uhh, kayden guile?" I said shorting her long name. "Here it is,am sure you can help her find her classes hun" I nodded and exited, "let me see that" I said peeping at her schedule.
"So when you said that you would be protecting me you meant it all?" I said looking at her schedule,it looked somewhat similar to mine.

Lunch came by slow,I waited by the cafeteria waiting for her, "where is she "I muttered to myself, maybe she got lost. I sighed as I went to find her when a lower class man appeared right in front of me "Hi Shunsuke!"She said a smile on her face, "hi,but excuse me I need to find someone" I said. "But I wanted to ask you something" she whined
"You can tell me some other time,you always bother me in class". I said walking away, "ah your funny!" She said leaping up and hugging me.
