"So, Dia, what would happen to a human if they go to the shadow world?" Shunsuke asked, stopping suddenly. He turned and faced the tiny fairy that was hovering just behind him.
She stopped and stood on the banister. "Just what are you thinking?" she asked him. "You better not be thinking what you're thinking."
"Kayden said she'd be back before school this morning. She's not. And, I have this horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach. Something's gone wrong," Shunsuke insisted.
"If something has gone wrong, and she was caught, then it would be best for you to just stay here. Lady Kayden would not want you risking your life for hers. She made it very clear she'd rather die than have you die because of her," Dia countered sternly.
"I'd rather have no one die, and if there is anything I can do to help keep her alive, I'm going to take it."
"How do you plan on doing that? You need someone to open a portal into the Shadow World, by someone who lives there. And, in the Shadow World, there is no oxygen, as Hollows and demons don't need air like humans do. You wouldn't last two minutes."
"You're a fairy. There's got to be something you can do. Can't you cast some sort of spell or something? You're magical beings."
"I am not obliged to you as I am for Lady Kayden."
Shunsuke narrowed his eyes. "I control this necklace. Therefore, you work for me. If I destroy this, I have a feeling bad things will happen." he held up the necklace with a smirk on his lips. "What do you want to do?"

Killing a demon, I crept around a corner of a building. It turned out several demons knew where I was staying. A bunch of lesser demons had been hiding in the bushes. I opened the door, and was smacked over the head from behind. Falling into the darkness, I couldn't fight back.
When I woke up, I found myself shackled to the wall. Hanging my head, I let the shackles hold me up. I was going to be tortured.
