Chapter 3 - Finding the Right Type
We walked through the halls with me giving them directions-pointing left and right while rolling my eyes. “Now turn right, and the door should be on our right.” I said as I slowed down getting behind all of my friends.
“Music room #3” Saamoki said as she grasped the handle of the door knob. “This is the right room?” She asked looking at the back of our group, finding me hiding behind Naomi. “Woos, it’s just a group of guys!” Saamoki said releasing her grip on the knob and turning towards me.
I frowned and walked out from behind Naomi holding my hands behind my back. “Fine, let’s go.”
Saamoki gripped the door knob and twisted it like a key opening it and barging into the room. “Whoa.”
Everyone gathered around Saamoki around the door and stood in place.
“Welcome.” The Host Club said again, but this time dressed in their normal uniforms.
“Oh sure, you dress up for me, but not them.” I said walking to the front of the group. Next thing I knew, Hunny appeared right next to me tugging at my sleeve like he always does.
“Sera-Chan, you’re back!” Hunny-Senpai said.
“Well, welcome back Seramea. Who is all of your friends?” Tamaki asked holding a flower towards Saamoki.
I sneakered at his question wondering why he would want to know my weird friends, but I’m one of them so it doesn’t matter. “Well, the one you’re too close to is Saamoki. This one,” I said as I grabbed Mai pulling her fully inside the door along with the others. “This is Mai. This one right here next to Saamoki is Chime. Lastly this is Naomi.” I finished as I turned back to the Host Club.
“Well, do you want to see what the host club is like? Hunny over there is talking with his fan girls, so is Hikaru and Kaoru. If you like, you may go see how they host, or you could be one of their fans?” Tamaki asked leaning back from Saamoki and hand motioning to Hunny and the twins.
“Well, how will we know which guy is right for us?” Chime asked walking forward.
“Oh, well I’m the Prince type,” Tamaki said as he used his right hand and placed it on his chest. “Kyouya here is the Cool type, Hikaru and Kaoru is the Little Devil type, Hunny is the Boy-Lolita type, and Mori here is the Wild type. Just whatever type you like you can go to them.” Tamaki said as he walked over to his chair and sat in it, crossing his legs.
Next thing I knew, everyone was gone from my side except for Mai, just standing there looking at me.
“So, what type are you going to?” Mai asked as she walked around me with her hands freely out motioning something I’ve never seen before.
“Um, I know exactly who I’m going to go to, Hikaru and Kaoru. What about you? Chime is with Hunny holding Usa-Chan while eating cake, Naomi is right next to her speaking to Mori-seeing as she might not get an answer, and Saamoki is talking to Tamaki.” I said as I started walking towards Hikaru’s and Kaoru’s table.
Mai shrugged and looked over the whole room. “I’ll just go to them too.” She said following me until we got to their table.
“Hello. Who is your friend, Seramea?” The twins asked me in unison forgetting their other costumers.
“This is Mai Commai. She wants to see how you two work with your customers.” I said sitting down next to Hikaru with Mai sitting next to me.
X minutes later X
“Then he ran into the girl’s room!” Hikaru was telling us a story about Kaoru with a little chuckle.
“Hikaru, you told me you wouldn’t tell anyone that story!” Kaoru said yelling at his oldest brother and lowering his head in embarrassment.
Hikaru’s eyes narrowed in sadness and grabbed his brother in his arms like he usually does with his ‘brotherly love acts’. “Kaoru, I’m sorry. Your face was just so cute when that happened. I just had to share it with everyone. I’m sorry.” He said pulling his chin up closer.
“Eeeeeeeh!” was all you could hear coming from girls all around the table.
I raised my hands and began clapping with a smile on my face, slowly stopping when the twins turned their heads towards me and I had tons of eyes staring at me. “What? That was an amazing act. I’ve never seen anyone act so well before.”
Hikaru let go of Kaoru and turned towards me staring down at me like he saw a dead bird. “What do you mean act? This is real.”
“Pfft. Do you honestly believe that this is real? If it was real you would be more over each other. This is a ‘Brotherly Love’ act to attract Yaoi fan girls into the Host Club.” I told Hikaru standing up walking around the table placing my arms around them lowering my head to their heights. “I mean if it was real, you would act the same in class. And you don’t, am I right?”
Everyone sat frozen, the girls that had already been with them staring at me in frustration. Kaoru shocked liked I found out his deepest secret. “Um, can we talk?” Kaoru asked me as he took my arm that was on his shoulder and dragging me out of the music room and into the hall. “What are you doing?!”
“I’m just telling the truth. You guys are acting aren’t you?” I asked crossing my arms.
“Well,” he started mimicking me. “Yes, we act to get more costumers for the Host Club, but they aren’t supposed to know that. It’s a secret.”
I lowered my head and tapped my foot on the freshly polished tiled floor. “I’m sorry. You know how I usually speak my mind.”
Kaoru nodded his head and gave me a flashy smile. “Now, let’s go back in there and pretend that none of this happened.” He said placing his hand on my lower back and opening the door guiding me through it. “Sorry everyone, she was just confused at what she was thinking.” He said as He walked me to my seat and he walked back to his.
XXXX
“Bye-Bye! Come back soon Seramea and friends!” Hunny yelled while all of us walked out of the room.
I gave everyone a smile, showing my teeth and waving to them. “See you everyone.”
“Wow that was an amazing time.” Saamoki said as she walked calmly down the hallway.
“Yea, it was.” Naomi agreed as she followed behind.
“We need to come back more often.” Chime said as she looked at me practically asking me if it was alright.
I looked at her for a moment wondering if I wanted to go back, then once again I flashed a smile and nodded. “Sure we can come back tomorrow.”
