Hey.
You heard right. It has been 25 years since the Dissater in Chernobyl.
The deadly explosion that killed many people, sent radioactive gasses to westen parts of Europe, and sent the brave heros who went in to that radioactive hell hole to stop it from getting any worse, to their deaths.
Chernobyl's radioactivity was horroendess and as I said spread to western parts of Europe. These are the countries that got hit by the radioactivity in order of how much they got hit:
Russia
Ukraine
Belarus
Sweden
Finland
Austria
Romania
Bulgaria
Switzerland
Greece
Solvinia
Italy
Moldova
This is the list that got contamintated, in a 35-185 kBq/m^2.
In actuallality, Belarus got conaminated the most because it got further.
It was a very sad time when the accident occured, and we have even more problems with nuclear power now, with the Fukishima power plant. This raises a question. Should we stop using nuclear power if it just going to cause explosions and unnecciasry deaths?
