Job hunting is hard :(

Hey! ^^

So Ive just been to the local highstreet and shopping center, cause now im 16, i got to start saving up for uni, my holidays and other propertys in the future, so I have to get a job. But thats kinda hard at the mo considering even though the UK uses pounds, we are getting affected by the Eurozone, unemployment has been high in the last couple months aswell.

So I went out just now, after going through almost half the stores only 3 were able to supply jobs. They were Game, Argos and Cargo Home shop.

Game was 1st on my list for looking for jobs, I went there first. They said that they'll be open for job placements in September. Its not supprising since Game was going to shut down due to bankrupsy, but another compay was able to get them back into shape just in time. So most likely they're focusing on getting everything back to normal before offering new jobs.

The 2nd place was Cargo. Short and simple they said you can send in your CV online and the admins will see if there are any openings available for the local shops in the area. So thats an easy one.

The final one I went to was Argos, final as in going around half the mall. This is most likely where Ill aim to go. The lady said a few people had left and they need new people to work. I said I can do saturdays, but they really need more hours in. I still have some holiday left so maybe I can work more hours in, but when I go back to school for 6th form Ill just have to work saturdays.

They said I can just hand in my CV when im ready and they'll have a look, so most liekley Ill end up in Argos which Im fine with.

Prefrably I would have liked to work at Game or HMV, but ill take what I can. As long as Im not a waitress, work in a cloths or beuty shop im fine.
