EXAMPLE
My First Mission!
I can't believe it... my first mission! A real mission! I finally have the chance to prove myself! No more stupid academy tests, no more of sensei's stupid lectures, I get to go out and be a real shinobi! Daring battles and heroic rescues! I'm going to be the stuff of legends!
As I walk through the streets I barely notice anything else besides my own musings. I'm actually so oblivious that I accidentally knocked into somebody. In turn that person fell into a stack of crates and cracked a few of them open. Effectively shaken from my fantasies I quickly turn down a sidestreet to avoid any immediate confrontation. I don't want to be late!
Deciding that I shouldn't get so caught up in my thoughts I start paying better attention to my surroundings. I skillfully avoid small children, shop signs, cabbage carts, frail old people, and anything else that dare cross my path on my way to the acting Hokage's office. Just like a true shinobi! I adjust my headband and smile up at the sky, knowing that my life is just beginning!

When replying, keep the title of the original post but put your name after it. It just helps. Also, for an added helpful bonus, try to include the previous response at the beginning of the post (as Keisuke, Mamoru, and Kimiko have been doing) so if someone missed something they can quickly go and get caught up. Hopefully this will help everything stay organized! Any questions (or ways I can word this better) message me!
POST CLARIFICATIONS
- What you read above is an example of a "short" post. One paragraph to about five (depending on how you chunk up your paragraphs). A "long" post is ten paragraphs or more or anything that requires more than one page to compile
- Not every reply has to be an essay, it could just be a brief summary of what's going through your characters head during someone else's post
- You can choose whatever tense or perspective you wish, and it doesn't have to stay the same throughout all replies to the original post
- STORY POSTS ARE NOT REQUIRED FOR YOU TO REMAIN IN THE RP, THEY'RE OPTIONAL TO HELP INTERACT WITH OTHERS AND ALLOW YOUR ORIGINAL CHARACTERS TO BLOSSOM
