Have you ever noticed that if you take a compound word and mix up the first letters in each of the words within said compound word, it usually sounds horribly unnatural?
Y'know, like if you were to say 'rining doom' rather than 'dining room' or 'pireflace' rather than 'fireplace'.
It usually sounds so unnatural.
Well.
Today I realized that the exception to that rule is 'canpakes'.
Canpakes sounds natural.
Canpakes sounds right.
I am completely okay with canpakes.
If one were to come up to me and tell me about their insatiable hunger for canpakes, I would completely understand that they were talking about pancakes.
Canpakes are not to be feared.
