I started drawing anime character recently. I haven't drawn anything for 8+ months. I wasn't that good before at dawing anything. For some reason, even though I haven't practiced drawing at all, my drawings are 5x better than what it was before

Anyone have any tips to improve my drawings? I haven't colored much before and I plan on coloring some of my drawings. Anyone know of any types of colored pencils are easy to erase?
