Could we with ink the ocean fill,
And were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill,
And every man a scribe by trade,
To write the love of God above,
Would drain the ocean dry.
Nor could the scroll contain the whole,
Though stretched from sky to sky.

Thanks again to my entrants! You have no idea how hard you made it for me to pick winners XD Seriously though I was very glad for your interest in my first challange. It was a lot of fun to host! And now I get to have all kinds of fun drawing your prizes I'll try not to take too long!
I'm Back!
Hello again! I got back last night from my family vacation to Florida. We had such a great time! I’m missing the nice weather already – it’s been cold, gloomy, and rainy since we got back ^^;
So our first day there we went to three of the Disney parks – The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios. We about walked our legs off doing all that in one day, but it was extremely fun. It was great to go on Pirates of the Caribbean and The Haunted Mansion again, among other rides and attractions.
The second day we visited with church friends, and the third day we went to Universal Studios. I love that park – it has a lot of simulator rides, which I thoroughly enjoy since I’m not into roller coasters or the more extreme thrill rides ^^; The day after that we went to Universal Islands of Adventure, including the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. That was sooo much fun! Hogsmeade and Hogwarts were just amazing. The Forbidden Journey, the ride inside of Hogwarts, has to be my new favorite. I also got to try pumpkin juice and butterbeer. The pumpkin juice was kind of like drinking a scented candle…lol XD The butterbeer on the other hand was delicious, like butterscotch meets cream soda. Yum! And of course my husband, my Dad, and I all bought wands at Ollivander’s ^-^
Alright, there’s my quick run down. I made a couple posts of pictures on my Tumblr, so feel free to have a look. What’s new with you guys since I’ve been away?
And lastly, a quick reminder – my Fire Emblem challenge will be ending in just a few days, so if you’re planning to enter now is the time!
Vacation
Just at quick note to say that I’ll be gone for about a week starting tomorrow, so I won’t be around to answer comments during that time. I’m headed off to Florida for a vacation with my husband and Dad. We’re going to Disney and Universal, which includes the Wizarding World of Harry Potter! ^O^ Yeah, I’m just a little bit excited about that, haha XD We’re also going to visit some of the “snowbirds” from our church who all live in the same area down there during the winter. Should be lots of fun!
Also I thought I’d mention that I started a Tumblr account a while ago where I’ve been posting some WIPs and other random stuff, so feel free to stop by if you’re interested.
Take care guys, and I’ll see you in a week! ^-^
Skyward Sword!
Just wanted to pop in and say I just finished Skyward Sword! I won’t say much so I don’t give out any spoilers, but it was a fantastic game. I think my shoulders are sore from all that shield-bashing and sword-swinging in the final battle, haha XD
It’s hard to say for sure if it’s my favorite Zelda game...I think I’d need to replay a couple others...but if not my favorite it’s extremely close. I wasn’t sure what I’d think of Ghirahim when I first saw pictures of him, but he turned out to be an awesome villain and I loved fighting him. I may prefer Zelda’s appearance in some of the other games (like Twilight Princess), but she was adorable and I loved her relationship with Link in this game. The side quests were super fun, too. In case it isn’t obvious, I highly recommend this game! Go play it! :D
...and I must confess I had a bit of a fangirl moment. At the part where you bring life tree fruit to the Thunder Dragon, Link holds up the fruit and smiles the cutest smile ever. I wish I had a screencap...maybe I’m gonna have to draw it XD
Okay, I’ll stop my game-gushing before I get any more random ^^; Go play it and enjoy for yourself! And now that a significant amount of free time has been returned to me, I shall get back to drawing ^-^
Oh, and a funny side note – I live in an apartment complex, and I’ve been hearing Skyward Sword sound effects coming from the upstairs neighbors all week. I’ve never met them, but it seems we have something in common XD
Christmas! And Premium?!
So I just realized last night that I suddenly had a premium membership, and I have no idea who got it for me. Whoever it was, thank you so much!! I really appreciate it! Unless you want to remain anonymous, I’d love it if you’d let me know who are so I can give a proper thank you ^^
How was everyone’s Christmas? Mine was great, though very different, as it was my first Christmas away from my family. I had a wonderful time visiting with my in-laws though, and I’m looking forward to getting together with my family this weekend. I have to say that my immune system has a really cruel sense of humor, though – out of the last 4 times I’ve gone to stay with my in-laws, I’ve been sick for 3 of them, this Christmas included. Why?? Luckily it wasn’t too bad of a cold this time around and I’m already almost completely better.
And I’m very happy to say that my husband and I got Skyward Sword for Christmas!! I haven’t gotten too far yet (so don’t tell me anything!), but it’s so much fun. My apologies if artwork is scarce from me for a little while...heheh ^^;
Also, my husband got me this:
An adorable little shadow heartless! I love him ^.^
Hope you’ve all had a great holiday season! Happy New Year!
