The Metaphysical Analysis of the World of Bleach
In the fictional world of bleach we start to notice concurring similarities with several concepts dealing with the metaphyical. The encompassing reality in which we see the world takes lace in, acts as a biological entity. There are three tertiary levels in its system of cogs and gears that one must take into account, The mortal plane(Earth), the Demonic plane of existence(Hueco-Mundo), or the somewhat culturally preserve and typically the final judge of everything(Soul Society). They each interact with each other in a synchronous motion, like the Ouroboros serpent, keeps spinning on and on creating and destroying in tuned with the rest. Also, the ever ominous presence of the king of soul society, as a form of some deity or something.
The universe acts upon itself as a biological entity. The three levels, as stated prior, act in a homeostatic way to regulate its functionality with no prior contradictions in its 'mainframe'. It is a regulatory system in which the soul society acts as the equilibrium center, meaning they maintain the stability of the system ever present, they end up controlling the vast populations in and outside of its boundaries. since the Mortal to Hollow to Citizen of soul society ratio must be equal or the equation is thrown off, thus eliminating the universe in a contradictory chaos that engulfs it. That's the key reason for the genocidal act of eliminating the Quincys( their abilities have the means of killing hollow, but it completely destroys the soul/s present in a hollow) which throws off the equilibrium of the universe. see the hollows destroyed get sent to soul society, then they 'die' up there and are re-invented into a new identity or individual, and thus new life( it explains the population issue with reincarnation, you see there are and equal amount of hollow, if not more so than earth, so it indirectly supplies earth with new people to increase the overall population). It can also take a more psychological-analytical course as well. Think of the Earth region as the Ego, Soul Society as the Super-Ego, and the Hollow world as the ID. you see the super-ego goes in conflict with the ID so the Ego(Earth) has to settle it out. see the id hollows tries to eliminate the ego by 'eating' it away and thus leaving the super-ego all by itself and thus enable to gain reinforcements.Now, the particular plane of Hell, is a special one since that is essentially where the dead materials of the serpent universe go as it consumes itself, it has within its bounds the 'dead' weight or the cancerous aspects of society and the universe itself. some say black holes are the gateways into the abyss in which the millions of blood-shot eyes stare back as the darkness consumes them. But there are vagrants in the system that must be eliminated before they cause true harm in the stability of the universe, Aizen and his ploy.
