Nai Hina- Miss Atomic Bomb
I paced around the kitchen, tightly holding a cup of coffee and an Oreo. I took a sip and it was bitter, but in a good way. After I had drank it all I ate my Oreo. A song blasted out on the radio, Dustland fairytale by the Killers. I was just waiting for when my Dustland fairytale would begin. It felt slightly that nobody needed my help for anything. And the couples all of a sudden didn’t help; it just made me feel depressed. The ringing of the doorbell brought me back to reality and I rushed forward to answer it. When I opened the door I saw a 19 year old boy with jet black hair and blood red eyes. He was wearing a dark Victorian suit along with a top hat. His boats were made of dark leather worn away at the toes and he was holding a black katana with a silver pentagon charm at the end.
“Hina!” He said as he rushed forward to hug me. I stepped back in panic, I had never seen this boy before. He smelled familiar, the musky scent of roses and bark. Finally it came to my realisation, he was my brother Jack. I hadn’t seen him in years. It was a great reunion, his arms wrapped around me. He was so warm, not like the cold of my skin. Smiling he took my hand and lead me to the door.
“Come on, we’re leaving this place.” I told him no but he pulled me through to the woods. The sun was blinding.
“Jack, I don’t want to leave, I love the MCC.”
He glared at me in fury. His red eyes seemed to pierce my heart.
“I will never leave you again, you are my sister. I made that mistake once before and look how that left you. Father died years ago, I killed him so I could get revenge for what he did to you.”
Jack grabbed my hand and tapped the hilt of his Katana against the floor. Dark energy surrounded us, lifting us into the air. I screamed but my voice wasn’t heard by anybody.
In the kitchen Dustland Fairytale had stopped playing, instead it was Miss Atomic bomb. When Kaki walked in she saw a cold cup of coffee and a half-eaten Oreo.
She ran upstairs trying to find someone to help her, Nai-Hina was missing.
“Miss Atomic Bomb, making out, we got the radio on,
You're gonna miss me when I'm gone,
You're gonna miss me when I'm gone.
Racing shadows in the moonlight,
Through the desert on a hot night.
For a second there we'd won.
Yeah, we were innocent and young”.
