Well, I figure I should post once in a while, instead of just creeping around this site. <.<
I'm home for the holidays, but only until the end of the week (don't worry, I've been home a while and just haven't said anything). I'm actually really missing college and freedom. Since I can't drive, if I want to do something with my friends my mom has to be available, and if I just want to waste time out of my house, that has to be with my mom, too. Basically, I've had way too much of my mother...
Luckily this last weekend I got to escape to a small convention! :D I met a few VAs (gotta love those guys, they're great people to talk to!), and a ton of other Homestuck fans. Did I mention I like Homestuck before? *looks up at intro* Guess not. Huh. Well, I literally just got myself re-up-to-date a few minutes ago after dropping it over the summer. My only cosplay's ready were two Jade Harley outfits, a generic Neko girl, and a steampunk dress. I figured getting up to date would be a good idea. ^^U Didn't quite make it, if you couldn't tell. Welp, at least I know now why John and Roxy are a popular pairing. Dave and Jane too.
Anyway, yeah that was a ton of fun. I'm thinking about doing a C.C. cosplay, but it'll be rather expensive, and I'm going to order it, so I wanna be home when it comes, but I'm definitely not having it come to college with me. There are NO conventions within a reasonable distance of me that are out on the interwebs...
Oo! But I got a Beary/Kuma-chan plushy! It's so huggable~ I just looooove him!
Hmmmm... Well, I'm thinking about doing an Elsa from Frozen cosplay. I've never done something really homemade and as elaborate as I would love to make that one. Because let's be honest: the dress you can buy from Disney is NOTHING like the one in the movie. There's just so much detail left out... Also, I guess making it out of snow isn't an option.
So yeah, that's my recent life in a nutshell. Not much interesting, I suppose. I finished Ouran a while ago... I'm reading Furuba again on MangaReader. I was reading the books, and caught up before they were all published. Then I totally lost track of the plot, and my library never got the last book. On my MangaSearcher app, I'm working on Kuroshitsuji. Also one I caught up to rather quickly. It was somewhere in the zombie plotline, shortly after seeing the Undertaker's eyes, when my school blocked MangaReader, so I dropped that because I had much more time to read at school than at home. Still watching Fairy Tail, but that's with my friend, so I can't get ahead over break. Also our Fairy Tail watching is interspersed with watching Bones as well, so it's slow progress. I can't remember what arc we're on currently, but it's after the whole alternate world plot line. I can't ever remember the name of that world...
