The Bottom
[Third person dreams are interesting. I haven't had a dream for a while and this one was so odd, I thought I'd post it up.
It's been ages since I've been on TheO. Ahhh how I miss, it.

Spikes protrude from the uneven floor, rising over the coward like giants; mocking the weak and pathetic
Looking up helps nothing; just reminds them of where they were
Looking down at the bruises and cuts from the fall musters a smile upon their lips
They're beautiful in a way
Little coward, hide yourself like you do.
Does the coward want to hide in the pit? Screaming in their mind at the passing thoughts, laughing at themselves and the memories.
So weak and pathetic they are, scratching at their flesh, watching the layers reveal themselves.
Lights dance around the edges of the pit, reaching for the coward's hands. Too ashamed they are.
Too ashamed to grab for their help.
So they smile and wave the help away.
"No need", they tell the lights, "no need, for I'm fine. Let me keep you at bay on the other side of my walls. You don't see them, but sometimes neither do I since I've grown so used to them.
You there, you got too close, so I'll throw my blades at you and run. Maybe if I make you hurt bad enough you'll stay away. My favorite and most cherished, of course I let you in, thinking I wouldn't turn. How foolish of me."
