Tempest walked back out of Jade's room, finding her missing. Maybe she was with Yuuka, or maybe June? She obviously wasn't with Natsumi, because she just saw her talking with Kiyoshi.
Speaking of Kiyoshi, Tempest had watched him to go the Senkai Gate. He was about to open it, but he hesitated. Tempest studied him for a bit, then decided to walk over to him and find out what he was doing.
"Kiyoshi-dono, what are you doing?" Tempest asked, in her usual seemingly cold, but caring voice.
Kiyoshi jumped, his hair standing on ends. "Oh, Tempest-san! I'm sorry, I didn't see you there! You startled me!" He said, bowing.
"Right... so will you answer my question?" She asked.
Kiyoshi looked at her, confused, "Huh?"
"Where are you doing?" Tempest asked him curiously.
"Um, oh! Right! I'm going back to the World of the Living to... to do something." Kiyoshi said.
"Well, that's not very elaborate..." Tempest told him.
"It's not? Well, I... actually, I was going to try a Soul Burial." Kiyoshi answered finally, lowering his voice so that the others couldn't hear.
"A Soul Burial?" Tempest repeated, raising her eyebrows.
Kiyoshi nodded. "For... the Masas. Wouldn't you think it'd give Jade a peace of mind if she knew they were okay?" He implied.
Tempest frowned, and closed her eyes for a second. Until now she never even knew she had parents. If she knew somehow that they were okay, she'd have a lot more peace of mind herself.
"Yes, I think that's a good idea." Tempest agreed softly.
"Good! I'd best be off, then. They could be wandering around or gone by now." Kiyoshi remarked, opening the gate.
"Hold on, you're not going alone, are you?" Tempest asked quickly.
Kiyoshi paused. "Well, I guess... I was going to, but you could come along if you'd like?" He offered.
Tempest smiled and nodded.
"Of course I'll come." Tempest said, "I'd be worried if I didn't..." She mumbled the last part, but smiled when Kiyoshi fully opened the Senkai Gate.
"Well, let's go then!" Kiyoshi said excitedly.
