"Are you just going to sit here and watch?" Niji Inazuma asked.
"Yeah. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about?" June answers
They were sitting on the rooftop of a building not to far away, hving a clear view of the battle down in the park. One of the new Hollows had popped up,so Tempest, Jade and Kiyoshi were fighting it. June had picked a spot where they would stay undetected untill the battle was over.
"Don't you think you shounld help them?" Niji Inazuma goes on.
"Nope. This isn't my fight."
"You're a Soul Reaper, right. Is it not your duty to fight and defeat hollows?" She states.
"Yes but this fight is different" June says.
"Oh? How so?"
"Haven't you noticed that everyones been weird lately. Due to these new hollows, things are changing in the soul society.No big changes yet, but they will come very soon. Secerets are coming out of the shadows. Most of them are going to be about us and the new hollows " June says very serious.
"Very deep of you. I was starting to think that you lost this side of yourself."
"No, I just don't show it. More over being serious is more of Tempest thing."
"If you say so? Speaking of which why are here and not in the battle?" Niji Inazuma asks again.
"I told you, it's not my fight."
"Yes,yes I know. Things are changing blah blah blah. But I don't get it."
"This is Jades first real battle, using her Zanpakto. Most of us want to see what she can do, but we have to wait untill she discovers it herself." June says.
"You mean find out the name of her Zanpakto?"
"Well yes and Jade's still upset over her parents death.She's already talked with her mother,I'm guessing that saying good bye to her father and defeating one of the creatures that took them away. Will give her peace of mind again."
"Your talking of Ray now aren't you?" Niji Inazuma asks.
Ray had been the first friend June made after her death.Years, months, and days would pass and Ray would never leave Junes side. During a walk one day, they were attacked by a hollow. June could only watch has Ray used herself as the target. Getting it's attention away from June. The massive attacts of the hollow took a toll on Rays body as it played with her. When the Soul Reapers finally arrived it was too late. Ray said her final words in Junes hands and the hollow had escaped.
"Yeah I guess. Even after she explained to me that I wasn't at fault on her death bed, I couldn't walk around knowing that the hollow was still out there. Hurting others." June says remembering her past.
"So you bacame a Soul Reaper?" Niji asks.
"Yeah. I wanted to make sure no one else would be hurt the way I was."
"And the hollow?"
"Word got to me me that it began attacking souls again after keeping low for a while. I took care of it before anyone else could." June answers "I had to be sure it never bothered anyone again. Thats why I'm here. If it comes to a point where they can't handle the new hollow, I'll step in,but let them fight out their troubles for now."
"Very well I understand now." Niji says." but it would help if you didn't eat all the sweets you made with Jade while watching them fight like it's some sort of show!"
"You know I need a constant amount of food high in sugars. The reason I'm one of the fastest in the Soul Society is because I've got an unusally fast heart beat.Quickening my reactions by great amounts. The fats and sugars from sweets only sightly slows down my heart. A normal person would have clogged up their heart the way I eat!" June yells. "This all thanks to you for shocking me every time I grab hold of you. Those volts have super charged my pulse"
"One who wants to control lighting must be able to catch it and out run it. Lighting follows no one weaker then its self." Niji Inazuma poeticly recites.
"Oh don't start. That reminds me you don't shock anyone on less it's the enemy.Why?" June says
"Your the only one who needs to be shocked, it's simple." Niji says. June go quiet."What wrong?"
"Someones coming."June answers
"You know who?"
"Not yet it's still to far." She answers again
"What are you going to do?"
"Wait of course."June says" It's still not my fight...but I have a feeling it will be soon."
