Reunion?

Tempest sat in the bed, bored almost to death. She was also worried about Kiyoshi and the others... especially Jade, because she had not been fully trained in combat, let alone with Arrancars and Hollows. She fidgeted nervously with her hands, staring out the window intensively.

"Tempest, they'll be fine! Just listen to what June had told you: just believe in them!" It was Madoka, her laid-back captain. Tempest glared at him, even though it made her headache worse. "I know they'll be fine. I just can't help to worry when that's all I can do!" She snapped angrily, still glaring daggers at him. Madoka sweat dropped, and backed away slowly with a twisted, nervous grin on his face. "Right, I'm sorry..." He said, becoming serious again.

"And, I understand how you feel. But still, Tempest... these invasions, they most certainly have something to do with your abilities as a Soul Reaper, for sure." Madoka said, stepping towards Tempest. "I know! I've already figured that much out. What I want to know now is why they are after my powers." She told him, closing her eyes, trying to stay calm against her captain's ignorance.

"Well, of course, but-" Madoka was cut off, just as the wall in the room exploded into pieces. Madoka had Tempest in his arms at that instant, protecting her from the blasting shards. The smoke then cleared, revealing a tall man with red eyes and long, blond hair. He wore a fancy Soul Reaper's attire, with beaded jewels and white-hemmed sleeves. He was different, dangerous, with a sharp sense of power; great, unmistakable power.

"Who are you?!" Madoka demanded, still guarding Tempest protectively. She was staring at the man. An old fear arose within Tempest, as if she was realizing who this man was. But, she couldn't match a name with his face. It was like she used to know him, but had forgotten him...

"Ah, Tempest Kotone, we finally meet again." The man said, flashing sparkling white teeth in a smile.
