Kira looked at him with a mixture of horror and anger. 'He's one of THEM!' Her mind raved. She masked her face, a demonic glint in her eyes.
"You should have kept your mouth shut. I haven't forgotten what your kind did to Him." she muttered darkly. Valyour gave her a mock face of fear and Kira's ever lasting patience snapped. She flash stepped and swung Houka Mitsukai. Valyour caught the blade and pushed it away. Kira swung her left fist and he caught it in his right. Kira swung Houka Mitsukai again and Valyour caught it again. Kira's mind spun as many different battle strategies floated through her mind. But her only possible one was the most risky. If she wasn't careful, she would lose her life. Kira looked at Madoka behind her, still in the spot he was when she came in, then Tempest on the hospital bed, face twisted in horror, Nanami Kannon released. Kira silently told her to bind Nanami Kannon and she did, the horror, confusion, and fear still etched on her face. Kira looked at Valyour determinedly. She wouldn't let him get to Tempest or Madoka. They were friends, weren't they?
"Captain Kazuhara, take Lt. Kotone and run. I'll hold him off as long as I can but you are to run as fast and as far as you can get her." she ordered. Madoka gave her a horrified look.
"Kira-san no! He's too powerful for a Lieutenant! Let me handle it." he ordered. Kira turned her head and, for the first time in her soul reaper days, GLARED at a Captain.
"Is that an order, Captain? Because, the way I see it, this is probably the only option we have left. It's either kill or be killed...and I've no intention to let him kill us so, Do you really want Lt.Kotone to fall into his hands? If not, PICK HER UP AND RUN!" she growled. Madoka gave her a worried/disapproving look before picking Tempest up and flash stepping out of there. Kira gave a sigh of relief and glared murderously at Valyour, a stubborn/determined look entering her eyes.
"Mr.Valyour, I'm afraid the only way your getting to Tempest now...is to kill me first." and then she pushed his hand off Houka Mitsukai and stabbed him through the stomach.
(Gomene, Razi-chan. I know, Lieutenants aren't supposed to back talk to Captains but the top priority was to keep Tempest away from him, right? Anyways, anyone continue,ne?
