An urgent update has been posted by Arranca. They're about to be put in a dangerous situation with an abusive parent. Here's what they posted, for more information:
My abusive father (who has hit, choke, stolen from us and sold all out belongings) was hit by a large gas truck. He refused to stay in rehabilitation and now my grandmother, who we live with in a one bedroom apartment with five people and a dog, is choosing to move him in with us, despite his violent nature and her not being qualified to take care of him. My brother and my boyfriend both work part time and at minimum wage, I have yet to find a job due to my disabilities. We do not have a car, housing is very limited and expensive in California. We are going to be put on a wait list for a low income apartment complex, but until then we need as much help as we can get to get out of here and in a safer environment.
