Darling V leaned forward and stared at her screen, wondering if what she was seeing was real. Shadow had somehow rigged her computer to actually cut across dimensions to see human activity. Right now, she was watching something called 'Don't Hug Me, I'm Scared'. She wasn't so sure about it yet. So far, it looked like some sort of creepy kids show. What was with this song? It's kinda catchy...
She leaped back with a yelp as Grimm appeared in front of her, hanging upside down, but gravity not seeming to be working on him. He grinned and snapped the laptop closed.
"GRIMM! I was WATCHING that!" she yelled.
"Yup and I'm bored" he announced, sitting cross legged on the ceiling. "Wanna play a game?"
"Wh- How'd you get in here?! The door was locked!"
"Maaaaaagic~" he giggled, wiggling his fingers and grinning widely.
"Could you please get out!? I'm busy!" V sighed.
"What? Watching Dhmis?" he said it as 1 word.
"... What?"
"Dhmis! Don't Hug Me I'm Scared in short!" he grinned.
"Yes!"
"That ain't busy" he chuckled.
"... Shut up!"
"So can we play?"
"Play what?"
"A game!"
"What? Why?"
"Cos I am super duper bored and when I get bored I want to play games!"
"Can't you do it with someone else?"
Grimm took a deep breath.
"Natalie and Boonie are having a play date Raggdoll is stressing about some shit that he didn't name Alex and Angelise are out hunting Ash is trying to hold Bessen down Techno and Shadow are talking about something I didn't quite catch No Name is moving into his room Spike and Spine are playing with their toys-"
"OK, you can shut up now"
"We have, like, 20 other people I haven't gone through" he laughed.
V sighed. "What game do you want to play?"
"Truth or dare!" Grimm grinned.
V squinted at him. "What are you planning..."
"You'll see!" Grimm grinned before dropping from the roof and onto the floor, despite being directly above the desk. He landed with a loud thump, yet it didn't seem to hurt him. He stood up only to immediately sit back down for no reason.
"SO! Truth or dare?" Grimm asked, tilting his head.
"I never agreed to this" V muttered. "Fine. Truth"
"Damn" Grimm frowned for a moment. "OK!! Do ya like Raggdoll?"
"As a friend, yes" V sighed. "Truth or Dare?"
"Dare!"
V thought for a moment, then smirked. "I dare you to take off your jacket for the rest of the day"
Grimm looked at her in alarm, then looked at the clock on her bedside table. It read 12:14 AM. He grinned.
"You play a dirty game" Grimm grinned, yet seeming slightly irritated.
"What? You too chicken?" she smiled sweetly.
Grimm sighed and unzipped his jacket. He took it off slowly, careful not to remove the bandages along his arms. He then dropped the jacket on the floor next to him. V stood up and grabbed it. She then proceeded to walk out of the room.
"Hey! Where're ya goin?!" Grimm asked, hopping up then tripping over the carpet. He landed on his face then stood up again as V exited the room. He followed quickly before jumping onto her back. She nearly tripped over, but then found her balance.
"Get off me, Grimm" she sighed.
"What're ya doin with me jacket?" he asked, hooking his arms around her neck, but being careful not to choke her.
"I'm washing it. I haven't seen you take this thing off for ages!" she announced before walking down the halls.
"But... like... why?" Grimm asked.
V sighed and entered the laundry room.
"OK, truth or dare?" Grimm asked, still holding onto her.
"... Truth" V said after putting the jacket in the washing machine.
"Damn" Grimm said again, shifting to a more comfortable position. To V, he was lighter than he should be. "Do you care about me?"
She paused for a moment, then shrugged. "Sure. I guess you could say that"
"Like, what'dya mean?" Grimm asked.
"Can't say more than one thing" she chortled at him as she turned the washing machine on.
"... Fine"
"Truth or dare?" V asked.
"... Dare" Grimm said after a moment of thought.
"I dare you to take-"
"Don't you say 'take off your glasses'" Grimm muttered.
"-off your glasses for the rest of the day" V finished.
"I hate you" Grimm sighed.
"No, you don't~" V giggled.
"I can't do that. You know that"
"Why not?"
"Natalie and all the other people might get scared"
"Seriously?! They live with you every day. I'm sure they'll recognize you"
"Fine. I'll take them off. But I'm staying in your room all day" he grinned.
"NO" she said firmly.
"Fine. Not taking my glasses off" he grinned again.
"... Fine then. Just don't annoy me"
"Truth or dare" Grimm asked, slipping his glasses off and handing them to her.
"Dare" she sighed, taking the sunglasses. She took a glance at his eyes and raised an eyebrow briefly. She had only ever seen it once. They were small red pinpricks swimming in what seemed to be a black sea. They also appeared to have black tears dripping from them. When she looked, he turned away.
"FINALLY. Since you have been giving me those hardcore dares, I'm going to tell YOU a hardcore dare!"
"Oh God help me-"
"I dare you to cut your hair!" he grinned.
V spun around in an attempt to glare at him. It didn't work, so she flipped him off, making him land on his back on the tiles. A slam like that would have killed the average man. Grimm was an exception.
"I am NOT cutting my hair" V growled.
"Why? I think you might look cute like that" Grimm smiled from his position.
V blushed. "So?! I don't care! I am not cutting my hair!" she whined.
"You chicken?" he asked, grinning widely. "Buck buck BUCKAW!!!
"Shut up!" V growled.
"BUCKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-" he began before coughing violently. Then he continued. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAW I'm not gonna stop all day" Grimm grinned.
"Will ya shut up?!" they heard Icarus yell from down the hall.
"NO!" Grimm laughed. "BUCKAAAAAAAAA-" Grimm stopped abruptly as V picked him up and brought him back to her room.
"No more truth or dare" she said firmly.
"What? Why?!"
"You took it too far. You know how much I like my hair being long!"
"And you told me to take off my glasses and my jacket!" Grimm complained.
"I know, but you haven't washed that thing in years! And those sunglasses, don't they annoy you?"
"You get used to it after a while" Grimm shrugged.
"... You get really confusing sometimes" V sighed.
"Yeah, I know. It's better than being understood" Grimm shrugged.
V gave him a thoughtful look then sighed, returning to her computer with a hand under her chin. Not even a second later, Grimm spoke up.
"Do ya mind if I do a few things to your room so if and when I fall asleep I don't teleport to a different dimension and wake up in a place that I've most likely never been to before?" Grimm asked, resting his chin on her shoulder.
V sighed and placed a hand on her forehead.
"Yeah, sure, whatever" V sighed.
"Kay, thanks!" he grinned before walking away. He soon returned. "Can I have my glasses back just in case it doesn't work?"
V sighed. "Fine. But you're not getting the jacket back" V said, taking the glasses out of her pocket and handing it to him.
"I'm still staying in your room. This is a rare opportunity for me!" he chuckled.
"I don't care" V sighed.
Grimm was silent again. Then there was the sound of glass breaking as the room became dark, the only source of light coming from the computer. V groaned and slammed her forehead into the table.
"Whoops. Sorry" Grimm said from the darkness.
This was going to be one long day.
