"The snow glows white on the mountains tonight...
Not a footprint to be seen.
A kingdom of isolation, and it looks like... I'm the King."
I came across this park and decided to stay there for a while.
"The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside...
I paused for a bit while I figured out what my next lines would be. "I just couldn't face it, Heaven knows I tried."
(Couldn't keep what in? I don't know. So I changed it.)
" "Sit on that throne, it's your responsibility"
"Stay away from the paparazzi"
"It's time to wear the crown and robe..."
So off I go!"
I then started randomly using the playground equipment and throwing snowballs. Swinging on the swings, sliding down the slide, whizzing round the roundabout, etc.
"Kumani asu are! Nadailome fosshiniwa! Kumani asu are,...
Nanaime, dabi wokase! Fuko naie jan,
Zettai nani wo dabile!
(Let it go,
Can't hold it back anymore.
Let it go,
Turn away and slam the door.
I don't caaaaarrrrreeee what they're going to saaaaaaaaaaaaay!
Let the storm rage oooonnn...
The cold never bothered me anyway)."
(Actually it does. I can tell because the snow has soaked my jeans.)
I decided to hit the town and check out the place.
"(It's funny how some distance...)"
(walked for a while and then coincidentally passed by a travel agent's with a world map on the window)
"(Makes everything seem smaaaalll...
And the fears that once controlled me
Can't get to me at aaaaalllllll!!)"
(walked round town @ that point and tripped over halfway through. But I picked myself up.)
"...Mime yatan!"
It's time to see what I can do
To test the limits and break through
No rights, no wrongs, no rules for meeeeeee...
I'm freeeeeee!"
(I broke into a shop during that verse and stole some food. Looking back on it, I'm not proud.)
"Kumani asu are,...
(Let it go,
I'm one with the wind and sky)"
(especially on the plane)
"Kumani asu are,...
Yoime sa,
(Let it go,
You'll never see me cry
Here I stand)"
(stamps on the Thorliskali road)
"Yolaikame sa!...!"
And here I'll stay,
You can't change my miiiiiinnnnnnndddd!"
I ran back to the playground and spun as fast as I could on the roundabout.
"(I feel an icy snowstorm rushing through my veins...
It flows out through my hands and blasts everything in its way,
...),"
(I didn't bother changing the lyrics. I got my smartphone out and threw it upwards on the next line.)
"(You'll never take me back, I'd love to see you tryyyyyyyy!!!)"
(It landed safely on the snowy ground, which was a bit of an anti-climax, so I picked it back up. I just ran round and sang for the last bit.)
"Kumani a-ah-su are...
Kumani asu are,...
Yoime sa,...
(Let it go,
And I'll rise like the break of dawn,
Let it go,
Your royal prince has gone!
Here I stand, in the light of day),"
(the sun was now rising.)
"Fuko naie JAAAAAAAAANNNNN!
(Let the storm rage OOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNN!!!)
The cold never bothered me anyway."
I think I got trapped in time on the plane or something, but I did manage to find a spot in the back entrance to an electronics store, where I tucked myself in my coat, used my bags as a pillow, and fell asleep.
...
"Are you okay?"
---------------
- If you're wondering why Rupert doesn't sing "Let it go" twice during the chorus, it's because he was singing in Altean and the Altean for "Let it go" is "Kūmānī Asū Ārē", which is obviously too long to be sung twice.
