New member introdu-redundant.

I'm just sayin'! I mean pretty much everyone in the new member introductions could form the Department of Redundancy Department. I'm not trying to be rude or anything but I keep seeing the same things. and not only that, they're pretty obvious.

THING NUMBER 1:

I'm new here/ any other form of saying they're new.

Well yeah, that's obvious, you're on the new member introductions. It's pretty much a given that you're new. It's not really necessary to say, but I guess it became a habit to say that you're new. Even though it's kind of redundant. Now I know that sometimes you end up with the person who had a profile and made a new one, and mention that. That's a good thing to write.

THING NUMBER 2:

I like anime and/or manga!

Well...You're on theOtaku....an anime and manga fansite...Uh...Isn't that obvious? Well yeah there are the few people who don't really like anime and manga but are here for various other reasons like fanart and stuff like that. Like me, I used to be a freaky anime fan. But it dwindled and now I'm mostly here to post art and being in the RP worlds I'm in. So yeah. I guess writing that in your intro is just kind of... a tradition I guess?

Those are the only two that I have actually. But they're definitely the most used for these kind of things. It's kind of weird. I dunno, I guess I felt I needed to point it out. HURRAY!
