HOLY CRAP.

Last night was SCARY AS FUCK.

The whole day yesterday it was storming pretty hard here. In most of the midwest actually. We were on a tornado watch for quite a long time. I went to bed around ten-ish so I thought everything was going to be fine. It wasn't storming too badly.

I was horrendously wrong.

At around 11:30 the tornado sirens went off. I was sooooo scared! I was nervous because by that time my dad should've been coming home from work. I grabbed my blanket and my brother's iPod (to check the weather online) and went downstairs with my mom.

My brother wasn't happy that we woke him up (He sleeps in the basement in Spring/Summer) and he seemed really calm. I was trembling! I kept refreshing the page on the iPod weather just to see the "TORNADO WARNING" thing on there. It was supposed to be over by midnight.

We actually went upstairs again when the sirens stopped, but we ended up having to go back down at least twice. When we looked out the window we could see the neighbors with their lights on.

My dad managed to get home on the last time the sirens went off and my mom and dad both hugged me because they could actually see me shaking. I was really scared, I'm just glad I didn't start to cry.

But it ended up being over, and I'm glad nothing in our city was gravely damaged. I'm just glad it's over!

I just want hugs now D:
